I bought the sims 2 seasons today and I tried to install it to my computer and it didnt work and it says I need to install another sims 2 game is that true?

Do Du have the original Sims 2 expansion pack? If not, then Du need to get that and install it first before Du can install Seasons.

It says at the back of the box it requires the sims 2, the sims 2 special dvd edition, the holiday edition oder the deluxe. Du can choose either one. The main idea is Du have to have the sims 2 base game to install any expansion pack. Like i said, Du can choose either the deluxe oder the holiday because each one includes the sims 2 base game. If Du already have the sims 2 installed, there's no need for the deluxe oder the holiday to install the seasons expansion pack. I'm really hoping Du can have the seasons installed because for me it is the best EP there is.
