I woke up. I put on my glasses and I see that Yuki is sleeping with her arms wrapped around me. I carefully remove her arms and get up.
"Hey, Yuki, wake up."
She opens her eyes slowly and yawns.
"Good morning, did Du sleep well...?"
"Y-Yeah, I guess. Hey, shouldn't we be going to school oder something?"
Her eyes widen as she stands up abruptly.
"W-What time is it?! I have to get to school quickly!"
She runs into the bathroom with her clothes in her arms.
"Well, that escalated fast.", I think to myself as I walk into the living room.
Suddenly, I hear someone knocking on the entrance door. I walk up to the door and check through the peephole to see who it is. It's none other then Ryoko Asakura. I open the door.
"Why hello there, and Du are…?"
"The name's Kevin. Kevin Almroth. I'm sure Du want to know what I'm doing here – your friend Yuki had invited me to stay here for the night because I had no other place to go."
Asakura had her arms crossed as she looked at me in suspicion.
I looked back. Yuki was taking a shower.
"I know what you're thinking: Du want to know where she is. Currently she's in the shower, but I'm sure she'll be done soon – she's a quick girl."
"I see. Can I come in?" she sagte with a smile.
"Oh Sure, I bet Yuki won't mind."
I open the door all the way as I go back to the living room. Asakura took off her shoes, closed the door and walked in. Just then, Yuki comes back from the shower. She had her school uniform on. She noticed that Asakura was there.
"Asakura-san? What are Du doing here...?"
"You're getting late for school. I had to check to see if something was wrong."
"There's nothing to worry about. She and I just woke up a bit late, that's all." I sagte as I was cleaning my glasses.
Asakura sighed.
"Alright, just promise me that Du won't be late again from now on, it's very unlike you." she sagte as she pointed at Yuki.
"I'm sorry..." Yuki sagte as she looked down at the ground.
"Hey, it's not like it's not her fault oder anything - I'm the one here who made her stay up so late.", I sagte to Asakura.
Asakura gave me such a glare that I half-expected her to say "You are our enemy" oder something.
"You're nothing but a trouble maker, aren't you?"
Crap, knowing her, I have a feeling this isn't gonna turn out too good.
"Not really, I try to stay out of trouble. If Du care for Yuki so much, then I'd suggest we stop wasting time with this issue and hurry to school now, right?"
Both Asakura and Yuki ran to the entrance to put on their shoes.
"Well, that escalated fast.", I sagte and then did the same.
Asakura looked at me again.
"Why are Du coming with us? Du don't go at North High, do ya?"
"Well, I do have some things I need to take care of there, Du can call it something like a personal stake I guess."
Asakura sighed.
"Fine, just be prepared to be kicked out Von the teachers." she sagte as she started to walk to the school."
I do a facepalm. "Oh, don't worry."
"God damn, she's so annoying. I kinda sympathize with Kyon now." I thought to myself as Yuki and I were following her.
After a few Minuten of walking, we finally reached North High.
"I'll see Du two later. I have classes to attend to. Bye!" she sagte as she ran to her classroom.
Yuki looked at me.
"I-I should go, too. Go ahead and take care of whatever it is Du were talking about."
"Alright, we'll meet up in the club room then."
She nodded, but before any of us could go anywhere, I heard a not-so-friendly voice behind me. It's the teacher that stopped me from yesterday.
"Great…" I think to myself as he goes up to me.
"Hey you! You're that kid from yesterday. And why are Du here again?"
I look at Yuki and back at him. "My sister called me and asked me to come visit her - sagte she was feeling very ill, so I had to get her home."
The teacher did not bite my lie this time.
"Oh yeah, and your sister is…?"
I stay silent for a Sekunde and turn to Yuki.
"She is. I'm her brother, Kevin Nagato."
She looked at me and I gave her a wink. She nodded at the teacher. I turned back at him - he looked at me, completely dumbstruck.
"We're planning on meeting up later, so until she finishes her classes, I would like to wait for her in the club room, is that okay?"
"S-Sure..." he sagte as he slowly walked away.
"He was probably shocked that Du even have a 'brother', let alone one that looks of a completely different race to begin with." I say to her.
"I guess so."
"Well, I already took too much of your time. See Du later in the club room."
