Why do Du guys hate Green Tag so much?

So Du don't like The Killers any Mehr because some of their Fans aren't fond of Green Day? Sorry, it doesn't make much sense to me. And "are we human oder are we dancer?" oder " i got soul but i'm not a soldier". Yes, they mean something. Listen to the entire song and then use your brain a little and something might come to you. Yes, I have listened to Green Tag and am familiar with many songs.I'm not so fond of them purely because it's not my kind of music, i'm not into their punk image which seems a bit contrived. It irritates me. I have nothing against Green Tag fans. If they have something against me then that's too bad. I Liebe The Killers because their lyrics mean something to me and are Mehr than not wanting to be an "american idiot", they aren't afraid to dip into different styles of Musik , creative, Brandon has an amazing voice, and a million Mehr reasons which I am not going to go into. And yes, I do like Holiday somewhat and Good Riddance.

Ok. I have just read the little conflict between Du and another Killers fan. I just have to say I really don't think Du should have attacked someone like that for their opinions. It was insanely and hilariously immature. How can Du be so quick to judge someone like that and immediately make assumptions. That really pissed me off. And is them being beliebt a reason that people should like them? I thought it was about their "great" music. Du say she knows nothing of music. Du used to like The Killers but formed your opinion based on what their Fans say about Green Tag oder even what "precious Brandon Flowers" said. While Cassie sagte she listened intently and had made no judgements on their Musik until after she heard it? Did Du even consider what she had to say? She was not the one who made her opinion based upon what others said. Du did. How about Du do that same with The Killers and if Du don't find them to your liking, well that is that. So I hope Du " grow up and get a mind of your own."

Thirdly, before Du start harping on at me, I am a HUGE Green Tag fan. Have been since 1994 when I first heard them. I also Liebe The Killers (admittedly not their newer stuff...).

My problem here is that people are entitled to like whoever they want to like. There is no obligation for anyone to like Green Day, oder The Killers etc. People like what they like, and hate what they hate.

Sure, some people have decided that there is a Green Tag VS The Killers war (probably because of what Brandon sagte about Green Tag in 2004). In my opnion, thats lame and stupid and pathetic. We are all allowed to like whatever we want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. But we don't have to shit on people who don't like what we like.

What Du are doing here is EXACTLY the same thing that Du are complaining about. Personally, I think the lyrics "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier" are very, VERY meaningful. Just as meaningful as some of my favourite Green Tag lyrics. So some people may think that Green Tag lyrucs are just as "meaningless" as The Killer's lyrics that Du think are "meaningless".

So, its great that Du Liebe Green Day, and Du don't have to like The Killers if Du don't want to, but it seems to me that a lot of Green Day's lyrics encourage people to be themselves, not only Von standing up for what they believe in, but also Von accepting differences and celebrating diversity. I think if the boys from Green Tag saw your Kommentare here, they would be ashamed that Du hadn't picked up on the messages that they have been trying to send their fans.

hmmm. Perhaps it's because everyone has their own taste in Musik and it isn't illegal to not like a band? Why in the world would anyone like anyone else less because of other people's opinions? That's a little churlish.

Why I Liebe The Killers: They're very diverse with their sound and lyrics, very creative, are a great live band, I KNOW WHAT THEIR LYRICS MEAN and that "are we human, oder are we dancer?" and "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier" aren't just Zufällig Zitate and that they have a very meaningful background, I Liebe the sarcasm they add to their lyrics... All and all, they are just a good, solid band who are underappreciated but I don't really care because if I like them that's all that matters and I won't go complain about others' opinions.

Why I dislike Green Day: Billie Joe's voice pisses me off, 98% of their songs annoy me, their songs sound too much the same, they try too hard to be punk rock when they are indeed not, I just flat out don't care for their songs, sound, style, lyrics, vocals, etc. and they just don't appeal to me. And don't say I don't like them because Brandon Blumen doesn't because I've never taken a liking to Green Tag in my whole life and have only been a Killers Fan for a little over a year. I and several other people in the world can form our own opinions without considering others'. That's what Brandon would call "human".

And I honestly don't care whether oder not people like Green Tag oder any other band in the world, because it's their personality and actions that I judge them by. I have met Green Tag Fans who are some of the nicest and decent people I've ever met, I won't let the fact that they like Green Tag oder some other band/singer that I dislike get in the way of what could be a great person to know. In my life I've only met one actual Killers Fan and they're a great person. but I could meet a Killers Fan who could be the most vile person in the world. Musik has nothing to do with personality and I feel somewhat embarrassed for Du right now.


FACT: I actually like Holiday and am partial to Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Well, The Killers have always been my favourite band, since I was five and I'm thirteen now. To be honest, the way you've written this like (if intended), Du have no right to judge us on why we like The Killers oder not. I respect your opinion that Du like them, so why can Du not be the same? Brandon has even apologized for what he has said. Green Day, however, are my 2nd favourite and I Liebe them as much as The Killers. I won't ever change that. People always say to me, "How can Du like them both after what Brandon Blumen said? Du do realize that, don't you?" well, it's because I'm actually mature and I can like whoever I want to like. I Liebe all my favourite bands the same amount and nobody can ever change that. I listen to them both every single day. Oh, and those words don't even mean anything? They mean shitloads to me and guess what? Du can't and won't ever change that either.
