Annabeth

I was walking through the thron room, talking to my mother, Athena. Yes, the goddess of wisdom and war strategy. We were admiring my work.

"Very good Annabeth. I'm glad to say my own daughter is-- A SPIDER!!!!"
I looked at Athena, confused. I'm not a spider! That's when she pointed to her statue and screamed.

I cringed, then looked at the statue. How bad could it be? The worst thing that could happen is it could be a- "SPIDER!!" I screamed.

I looked at my mother, terrified. Her grey eyes were wide, full of fear.
"DON'T LOOK AT ME!! GO GET SOMETHING SO WE CAN KILL THIS DESPICABLE THING!" Athena screeched, trying to get as far away from the spinne as she could. She was all the way on the other wall, and her eyes were trained on the spinne the entire time.

I glared at my mother, then looked back at the spider. I swear to gods, it just moved closer.
Screaming, I took off, ignoring my screeching mother.
"ANNABETH JOANNE CHASE!! GET BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!" Athena screamed, cowering against the wall.
"LEMME THINK...NO!!" I screamed back, still running.

And that's when I ran into Poseidon.
"Annabeth, why are Du screaming?" he asked, as calm as ever.
"T-t-the spinne IS TRYING TO KILL ME!!" I screeched. Why else would I be screaming?
Poseidon rolled his eyes and simply said, "Show me the spider."

So I took him to the disgusting thing trying to kill me.
"POSEIDON! KILL THIS spinne NOW!" Athena screeched, staring wide-eyed at the bug. "I SWEAR, IT JUST GOT BIGGER! KILL IT!"

I stared at the spider. It had to be the size of a baseball.
Even Poseidon was hesitating to kill the spider. And the longer it took, the bigger it seemed to get.

I screamed even louder, then ran again.
And I ran into Hades.
"What the heck is going on in here?"
"THE spinne IS TRYING TO KILL US!!" I yelled, wide-eyed.
Hades looked nauseous for a second. "Show me the spider," he said, his voice slightly shaking.

I ignored his weird actions. The god of the dead couldn't really be afraid of spiders too, right?
Oh, I was soooo wrong.

We walked into the room, and Hades screamed like a little girl.
"IT'S A FREAKING HUGE SPIDER!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!"

It shrunk in an instant.
Hades screamed again, then vanished, leaving Athena, Poseidon and I confused as ever.
What the Hades?
"KILL THE FREAKING spinne POSEIDON!!" Athena finally screamed, still not getting any closer to it.

"Nope, I believe my business is done here." And with that, he walked out.
"POSEIDON!!"

But what we didn't notice it there was a black spot on the ground, because Poseidon did kill the spider.
