Reita: the GazettE was 1 Jahr old and our schlagzeuger quit. Ruki was pushing us to accept Kai as the new drummer. Eventually I joined a session band live with Kai @ Uwasa narzisse livehouse. But our first greeting was not rocking at all! I only sagte "Good Morning" to him...
Kai: Eh? Du sagte that when we met at the livehouse entrance?
Reita: Yeah yeah...
Kai: I didn't think I sagte anything. Ruki did the introductions. He was like "This is our bassist". And I went "Ah- Hey"
Reita: Noo- Du dint say anything. If Du did, then I didn't hear Du lol. I was worried! We want to make this guy who look like he didnt give a damn be our band member? Haha!
Kai: And even tho Reita looked like he cared about all this... I still thought he looked like a bad person lol
Reita: We had another rehearsal before the live. And Kai sagte "Can't Du play the bass while facing me?" I was like "This is baaadd" haha!
Kai: The bassist in my Zurück band always played facing me. So it kinda became a habit of mine. I feel calm if I'm face to face with the bassist!
Reita: But we were doing rehearsals! Live shows are supposed to be spontaneous! I thought, "maan this guy is such a pain." lol
Kai: …Sorry hehe.Well I thought Reita was so full of himself. He was wearing some laid back clothes and I was like "is he really a visual kei guy?"
Reita: At that time VK peeps wear those leather, studs&stuff, right? But it was summer! I was wearing torn jeans, a singlet and an aloha hemd, shirt lol
