Why is Alicia considered the "exotic" one?

Just because she's a brunette? Cuz Massie is too but she isn't called that. I remember the Sekunde book where Alicia's dad had sagte she was an "exotic beauty" and at the Halloween party, Alicia and Olivia came over and described their contrasting beauties as being exotic and Spanish (a stereotype) and "All-American" with blonde hair and blue eyes (another awful stereotype).

I'm just wondering, is it just because Alicia is Spanish and everyone assumes those women (or Latinas, black women, etc.) are all exotic when often they aren't? Alicia does NOT look anything but classic on the book covers and in the movie.

Just wondering cuz when people misuse words it bothers me... ;D

I don't think that was what Lisi meant. Alicia is often considered an exotic beauty because she's so much tanner and her hair and eyes are so much ah-dorably different from everyone in Westchester. And BTW Du don't know who Alicia is on the book covers because Lisi says like a million that the characters on the book are just supposed to resemble a clique. Not meaning to be disrespectful but I think Du should know what you're talking about before Du pollute the internet. Sorry I'm being so bold. :)
