Blake Lively and Chace Crawford are pretty much perfect examples, don`t you think? TV viewers love them no matter how afwul their acting can be and are just blind only because of the appearance. Y/N?

In most of the current TV shows actual talent can be a liability. If they ever get something besides s room full of monkeys script it will be different. But what are the odds?

I don't think so. Though personally,I think Blake and Chace can act :)

Worst performance out of the TV shows I watch: Shenae Grimes from 90210. She is horrible. And I read somewhere that she wasn't bad on Degrassi, but here...

Chace can't act but still in fanpop Chace has over 5000 fans, maybe only because of his beauty.

Most of time I think beauty can make up for acting. But there are sometimes exeptions .

I think Shantel VanSanten (Quinn on One Tree Hill) is a great example. She is soooo beautiful. But she has really poor acting skills, so she doesn't have many fans.

While it's nice to look at good looking people... I think it's a bit ridiculous that television shows feel the need to higher such incredibly good looking people as the actors. If you look at most television programs and movies produced in countries outside the U.S.- the actors look average and normal. It's a bit crazy how much American programs place an emphasis on appearance.

Seems like there are a lot of bad actors that are cared nothing for except their beauty. Fake beauty, that is.
