It’s summer…the best time of Jahr to binge on all the shows Du haven’t had time for until now.

The latest worthy of watching is the all-new Season 3 of Netflix’s fan-fav comedy UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

The lovable Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) returns with a hankering to hit the Bücher as she heads to college. Her new educational outing brings a fresh pack of college besties, including ‘Josie’ played Von actress Rachael Meyers. Standing at 6’2”, this real-life former collegiate athlete brings her A-game to the series, scoring plenty of laughs.

Rachael Meyers recently took time to answer a few questions:


Describe for us your role on UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

RACHAEL: I play one of Xan's three roommates - a trio of athletes committed to their team. We don't like Xan, but we Liebe Kimmy.

How was it to work alongside Ellie Kemper? And, also with the creator Tina Fey?

RACHAEL: They were both wonderful. Ellie is so vibrant and gracious. Every morning Du were greeted with a smile, even though Du know, being a new mom, she was probably up all night. She was always on her game. And Tina is the producer Du always hope for. When we walked on set, she was the first person with an outstretched hand introducing herself. Her crew loves her. There wasn't a bad egg on set, and that's a testament to how Tina, Rob and their producing team run the show.

What would Du consider your character's ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

RACHAEL: Josie's best quality would probably be her loyalty. Her worst - she can be a little judgmental sometimes.

Any funny stories from behind-the-scenes?

RACHAEL: There's a scene in Episode 6 where Josie has a nip slip in the bookstore - tastefully hidden Von a hat rack. The direction was to put myself back into my oben, nach oben after my line. Well after a couple takes, Don came over and asked if I could make a bigger deal out of the lift and replacement. I said, "So basically give myself bigger boobs. I can do that!" So, I got to give myself a fake boob job for the shot. It was great.

You also recently premiered your own project called TRUMP’d, right?

RACHAEL: Yes, if Du Liebe musical theatre satire, check it out. Du can catch it on YouTube. Video 2 will be premiering shortly.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from creating your own projects?

RACHAEL: I've learned quite a few, but the most important is probably the sense of control over your own destiny. As an actor, Du can sometimes feel like the fate of your world rests in the hands of everyone but your own. So, instead of waiting for the phone to ring, Du can create your own content and with that, opportunities. When Du make this shift in thinking, the rest of the world opens up too.

RACHAEL: I'm a great admirer of both Charlize Theron and Kate Winslet's work.

RACHAEL: Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY

Favorite movie oder TV Zeigen from your childhood.

RACHAEL: Movies: I loved INDIANA JONES and also THE PRINCESS BRIDE. TV: Couldn't get enough of FRIENDS.

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.

RACHAEL: Du wouldn't know it to look at me, but I'm part Cherokee.
