P.S. I am only including her 11 studio albums, not her live albums oder other EPs (much smaller albums). I want to make sure this is a fair ranking, and it can't be fair if a 5 song album is compared to a 20+ song album.

Eleven
folklore (2020)


Okay we are already starting off this Liste with probably my least beliebt opinion ever in the history of opinions. I am just not a Fan of this album. I have listened to it many times but honestly? The only standout song is "august", which is in my oben, nach oben 10 Favorit Taylor songs of all-time. But the rest? It's very meh.

Taylor Swift (2006)


Now don't get me wrong, I actually DO like this album quite a bit. It was a very solid debut, but when compared with other albums, it just doesn't make the cut unfortunately. I think it's because I'm not really a country Musik fan. I try to force myself to listen to it on principle alone, but I'm just not into this as much as other albums.

Nine
Fearless (Taylor's Version) (2021)


This album was so much better than the original Platinum version. Her voice is so beautiful here, and the songs excite me Mehr than the original did. I also Liebe the gewölbe, tresor tracks. All of this makes this album Mehr 'listen-able' than I felt it was before. However, I still don't crave it the way I do other albums.

Speak Now (2010)


This album contains some of her most underrated songs, which I find strange because within the fandom, this album is very popular. However, I only see people talk about Verzaubert as if that's the only song on the album. I Liebe everything about this era too - the dresses, the music, even the color.

Lover (2019)


Upon first listen, I really did not like this album. The only standout song to me that I instantly liked is "Miss Americana". But when I realized that this album was all for Joe, that's when I tried to give it another listen. It is just a really cute album. The concept and style surrounding this era were amazing! This is definitely a bubblegum pop album, but that's alright because I Liebe that genre!

Reputation (2017)


Okay now this is going to start getting difficult. I have a strong personal attachment to this album and the era as a whole. When I first heard "End Game", I was captivated. And that is when I *officially* became a stan, at least publicly 🤗 Listening to the album the first time, I instantly loved it. It was such a unique sound coming from her that it's hard not to like it. It is also one of my most listened to Taylor albums. I always crave it.

Midnights (2022)


When first listening, I thought this could be my Favorit album oder at the very least 2nd favorite. After listening to it obsessively for about a week, I realized the first impression I had was a bit exaggerated. Don't get me wrong, this IS a great album and "Would've, Could've, Should've" became an instant Favorit ("give me back my girlhood, it was mine first") 😭 and that line is iconic. Taylor is such an emotional singer, but that lyric is her most powerful and emotional she's ever been.

1989 (2014)


Ugh! Now this is hard. *deep breath* Okay I have a confession to make. I also didn't Liebe this album at first, I just thought it was okay. But I didn't allow myself to Liebe it until the era was long over because...she kind of really annoyed me during this era. She was everywhere and I was kind of sick of it. But I Liebe this album so so much now! It's her best pure pop album in my opinion, and there isn't a single skip!

evermore (2020)


*hyperventilates* I do not love folklore, and when I first listened to this, I liked it. I immediately thought it was better than folklore. Overall, I'm not usually a Fan of this kind of "indie" Musik but I don't know...honestly, I was really high one Tag and listening to it and it just hit me (like bang!) that this is an excellent album. I listen to it a TON now, but I have not grown sick of it. I have the lyrics to many songs in my head pretty much constantly. And I hate to say it but...it just might beat out my #1 someday.

Favorite Songs: right where Du left me, marjorie, coney island, tolerate it, champagne problems

Red (Taylor's Version) (2021)


I am beyond emotionally invested in this album and era. Red was the first album of Taylor's I listened to in whole, and I was a secret Fan for awhile until 1989's era. I instantly fell in love with this album on the opening chords of "State of Grace". I was then impressed Von her lyricism in that same song. And then "Red" came on and I was even Mehr impressed. Look, I have a very very complicated history with Taylor and my "sister" in-law is also obsessed with Taylor but she and I don't like each other so it's been kind of...interesting, at the very least, to watch my obsession with Taylor grow too. I have fond memories of me listening to this album alone, without anyone knowing, and really enjoying it. I was beyond thrilled when she decided to release Taylor's Version because that meant we'd be getting even more! tracks from the era. I haven't found a better connection with any of Taylor's albums before oder since Red.

The Tortured Poets Department (2024)


It happened. I think Red may have Lost the Titel of my Favorit album because I am just obsessed with this album! At the time of writing, I have been listening to it NONSTOP for over 48 hours. No, I mean nonstop! I even sleep to it now. This is such a beautiful work of art, and it actually reminds me of Red so no wonder I adore it so much! I call it Red's sister. It's her best work so far and is pure poetry. So addicted.
