I'm with Tessa! But he's extremely hot either way. ;) The beard and mustache do look wonderful on him and just give him an older, more mature look.
Having been a Beyond Belief fan earlier than a Star Trek one, I'm used to bearded Frakes, anyhow.

"Riker's Beard" is apparently even a term that means the opposite of "jumping the shark"--it refers to something that marks the start of a series beginning to really find its "groove." I find that absolutely hilarious, and think I'll start using the phrase as an expression of astonishment. "Riker's beard!!" "By Riker's beard..."

Like Geordi without his visor, he just doesn't look right without it and he looks so much hotter with it. Had to throw my two cents in.

I think he looks better with the beard because I think a man with a beard and mustache is sexy.

Haha! This made me think of Q saying, "Oh, you're so stolid! You weren't like that before the beard." and Riker just gives him that look.

The beard makes him much more interesting.
