Will Soul Eater Have A Sekunde Season?

Well, here's the thing:

Soul Eater started out as a Manga series. The Anime is an adaptation of that manga. For the first 34 episodes oder so, the Anime was pretty damn faithful to the manga. Of course, the Anime studio noticed a bit beforehand that they were running out of Manga to adapt, and they only had a 51-episode budget, so they did the best possible choice: they diverged from the original manga's plot and took their own spin on the duration of the season, tying up as many of the remaining plot points as they could for a premature ending. If Du ask me, they picked a wise point in the story to teilt, split off from the anime. Otherwise they'd have to add Mehr plot points that would risk being unresolved in the end.

As we speak, the Manga is still being released, with no foreseeable end currently in sight. The characters and a few major events are all developed quite differently. If Du can find any copies, I definitely recommend Du read them.

Now, as for the Sekunde season:

The Animation studio responsible for producing the original Anime is "Bones", the same studio that brought us Fullmetal Alchemist, which was a very loose adaptation that ends up being developed differently has requested Von the creator of the series. Now Bones has made Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, a new adaptation that follows the original Manga Mehr closely.

What does this have to do with Soul Eater, Du might ask?

Well, word has it that the producers of the Anime are considering waiting for the Soul Eater Manga to play out for a bit longer. Maybe when it's close to finished, then a new season, oder perhaps Mehr appropriately, a whole new Soul Eater Anime will be produced.

i've been in Japan for 2 month! i just checked the website. Du know, i read everyone's posts here and it's simple. everyone wants somthing Mehr from soul eater. there is some evidence for soul eater season 2. if Du have seen the soul eater repeat show, the op doesn't make sense. In the beginning, crona was on the other side. There are characters that didn't come out before. Death City didn't have a amusement park oder a giant monster coming out of the ground. that's because it was actually meant for the season 2.if Du want proof go type in soul eater season 2 in 2012 in google.kr( i'm half korean, half japanese, Du see)the producers apperently wanted a Sekunde season, but Bones wanted to wait until the Manga was nearing it's end and they were short of funds for it.it might come out in 2012-2013. however, this is certain. soul eater will have a Sekunde season some time sonner oder later. Anyway, there is nothing we can do right now. stay optimistic and wait.

hhmmm, well there should be, they could be Mehr information on things, like makas weapon blood and kids lines (<3 kid!) connecting and stuff. the Manga is still on-going, and i know people have sagte things like 'but its so different from the Manga now' hayate no gotoku had the same thing, but they sorta went back in time to create he Weiter series. but they should make a Sekunde series... ive heard rumors that they will too! this one dude even sent me a link to the Weiter soundtrack (but i couldnt download it because i have low memory space) in any case, im eing a bad girl and keeping my hopes up.

The creators of the Anime really want to make a Sekunde season,but they want to see how the series plays out. Here is a quote from where I got the info: "Masahiko Minami of Bones, Koji Taguchi of Square Enix, and Ryo Ohyama of Aniplex mentioned that they want to create a Sekunde Soul Eater Anime after waiting and seeing how the story progresses."

I also heard that they are making a Sekunde season because allot of Fans were demanding it.

No i looked it up, it was a 51 episode series...I know its a major bummer. I really wished they would have shown Mehr of soul though i mean the name of the Zeigen was his name so he should have been in it more.

there HAS to be a 2nd season. 51 episodes is way too short and there's still so many things that are yet to be revealed, e.g.: maka being a weapon. everyone's curious about that. they can't just finish the series without telling the viewers Mehr about it.

Yes, but it sagte anywhere that Bones can't make another projet like that, and any other things like that...I know, everybody want another season, and think another should appear..but I'd like evedence(s). i'm Mehr than worry about this, and i had to be fixed on anything (sorry for this english, but i'm french)

there shuld be i mean makka's mom still hant shown her self.and after the first 5 episodes they ditch there first goal of being the altament weapon plus black star, sterne has to surpas god and maka and soul need to become Mehr then weapon and master :D

I'm guessing not. First, the Manga and Anime ended up really different. During the end the whole battle with the kishin was very different then what's going on the manga.
But then again:
I heard on Youtube somewhere that Full Metal Alchemist was never supposed to have another season a few years ago. Then recently they decided to make more.
So who really knows.

But let's all kreuz our fingers that they'll decide this Zeigen is too good to end :D

The Manga is still ongoing, and in my opinion, is better than the Anime.
Still, if they DO make a Sekunde season they should make it follow the Manga.

Yes, they will have a Sekunde season to Soul Eater, but it is a manga(a comic) It will be called Soul Eater Not! It began serialization in Monthly Shōnen Gangan on January 12, 2011. It will probably be turned into an Anime later on(hopefully. They don't know right now).

Since I have nothing to do and Soul Eater is my Favorit Zeigen EVER! (As of about 1 Monat Vor because that's when I discovered it) I have been researching like Professor Stein would on dissecting something xD anyways I found out a lot about Soul Eater and many people have there own
theories on when it will have a 2nd season IF there is a 2nd season at all. And I have run into a couple websites and read the Foren and they say that the creator of Soul Eater (they didn't leave sources to prove if this is true oder not so I don't even know if its true but I sure hope it is) wants to create another season AFTER the Manga comes to an end which nobody knows when that will happen so it could be a while but most people say at some point in 2012 oder 2013 oder even longer but the point is a lot of people believe that Soul Eater WILL RETURN but in the future. Yes, it's called Soul Eater Reapeat Show. It'll be like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, same thing but Mehr along the lines of the manga. They already have two openings for it.

There is also a spinoff Manga called Soul Eater Not!, which is about a different team (I forgot their names XD) but the original cast will make cameo appearances. So far, Soul Eater Not! has only been released in Japan and I'm not sure if oder when it will be released in America.

I think they will becuz ppl r demanding it and there were alot of Nicht beantwortet Fragen in the Zeigen soul eater, so it would be a good idea if they made another season so they can answer them:)

I've read a lot of negative Kommentare about this show, about how they totally ruined it half way through the season. I just want to say they either aren't true Anime Fans oder they are just so close minded they can't appreciate an awesome thing. This is the first Anime Zeigen that I really got into, not only was it entertaining with all the fighting but it sent out a lot of positive messages and words of wisdom. I really hope they make another season because this Zeigen has so much potential to keep going and I will support it because there is not one negative thing I have to say about it! Never a dull moment and always keeps Du guessing!

I've watched all 51 episodes of Soul Eater. I'm not doubting one bit that they'll add a Sekunde half to the series. It'll probably have a sub-title like other Anime's. For example, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Naruto: Shippuden, are both two series that have two different halves.
I've been told that they're waiting for the Manga to finish before they continue the Anime.

The Anime has finished. It's 51 episodes in all. Now if there was going to be a Sekunde season; that would be awesome. Yet, it would probably be an Anime adaptation of SoulEater-NOT!. However, i found that the Manga has a little bit Mehr kick to it. There should b a Soul Eater Anime which follows the Manga 95% a with the FMA Brotherhood anime.

Actually, there is only 1 season. Netflix isn't 100% accurate on everything so it just shows that's its Mehr than I season but in fact it's only the one.

People think logical here. So many Nicht beantwortet Fragen for example: At the beginning of the Anime soul was just one soul away from being a Death Scythe. What the hell happened to that. Weiter they haven't shown Maka oder Soul's parents. Sekunde what happened to the Sekunde "MAIN MEISTER AND WEAPON" team the one that assisted them on the " BACK IN TIME " episode. What happened to Lord Death did he's wounds heal? ( I know Lord Death woke up at the end ). No. Even though Soul Eater is very beliebt and many people like it. I like it too, it's my 2nd Favorit Anime.
Anyways, they WON'T make a Sekunde season and here's why.
Those producers oder staffs who make Soul Eater a series. They follow the Manga up until episode 39 when they STOP following the Manga. -.- Dumbasses producers. SINCE they didn't follow the Manga, they already kill off the main villians such as Medusa, Kishin, Arachne, and any other villians in the Anime. I am sooo PISSED because they aren't suppose to kill them at that time! WTF! The battle begins with Kishin in 2012 oder 2013 in the Manga, but NOOO... they wanted to end the Zeigen on March 30, 2009. So what i'm saying is... since they kill off the MAIN villians with SOME FILLERS since episode 39 to 51... they can't make a Sekunde season. UNLESS they make the SERIES over again and make sure to FOLLOW the Manga. That happen before in Fullmetal Alchemist when the beginning is Manga but then Fillers. So then they RE-CREATED the series again and call it Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and this time they follow the Manga correctly.
Sooo it's either they RE-MAKE the series AGAIN, just like Fullmetal Alchemist did on how they re-make it.

It was recently confirmed Von the person who plays the voice actor of Maka that there will be a new series. They don't know when its going to be out. So no worries about it no more. IM SO HAPPY!!!!
