First look at Marilyn Manson on final season of SOA | NY Daily News

The rock star has traded in his goth look for prison scrubs to portray a new character on the motorcycle gang drama “Sons of Anarchy.”

Manson is playing a white supremacist named Ron Tully, whom the show’s protagonist Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) meets while in prison. The two characters form an alliance while behind bars.

"\'Sons\' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father\'s," he said in a statement about joining the show. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of \'SOA\' is about that relationship. So now, all I need is a motorcycle."

Earlier this month, Manson tweeted a photo of his younger self on a motorcycle, which he captioned the “The original Man Son of Anarchy.”

The "Dope Show" singer isn’t the only rock star who will appear on the seventh and final season of the FX drama. Courtney Love will also have a role on the series, which will see her portray a preschool teacher of Jax’s son in what has been described as a “pivotal, multi-episode” arc.

“Sons of Anarchy” will premiere Sept. 9 with a one-hour-and-45-minute episode, followed by the debut of "Anarchy Afterword," a live discussion show.
