Additional Information: She's a Muggle-born, but she wants to finish her education even though she isn't allowed at Hogwarts. She and Neville are best Friends (they don't start dating until later on), so they come up with a fairly convincing story that she's a distant cousin on his mother's side. She spends the entire Jahr feeling completely paranoid, always afraid that someone will find out her actual blood status.
