There is no obscurity about Harry's parentage.

I think it could. I think where she started the story would depend on how much she could work in, but I think she could give us glimpses of other characters, even if she started with them going into hiding. For example, the original Order, Wormtail's decent into the Dark Side, her going out/falling in Liebe with/marrying James/having Harry. Everyone's reaction to the Potter's being hunted.

If she does it, she damn well better give us something good about Severus Snape.

I think I'd prefer if she left the series as it is. I like it that there are bits in it that annoy me or/and puzzle me. It makes the book a lot Mehr interesting as I get to fill the blanks and come up with all sorts of different theories as to why something occurred. I don't enjoy Bücher and Filme that spell everything out for Du anywhere near as much. I'd much prefer if she wrote something else completely different.

It really sounds interesting but I still like the idea of the new generation and a good part of the exchange would be Headmaster McGongall dealing with Severus and Dumbledor portraits making life miserable for her, them arguing back and forth and advising Harry's and Ron's kids. Just as long as she makes the adventures new and interesting.
