And for the record, no, we're not confusing Snape and Alan. I find both of them extremely hot. And yes, I am talking about the book version of Snape here. I do not mind gresy hair and hooked nose. I Liebe Snape's intelligence, darkness and most of all, his sarcasm. I Liebe his tragic history, and the fact that he loved so much, he was willing to die for that love. All of that makes Severus Snape extremely hot for me.

I don't give a flying fuck about what Severus Snape is supposed to look like. I Liebe him no matter what; his personality and all that he's went through is what makes him hot to me. I think Alan portraying him is really hot, but I know the difference. Regardless, he's hot to me no matter what.

I know I Kommentiert above, but I was adding to other's Ansichten and this statement is Mehr likely all my own. Being the slightly demented person I am, I kind of like unattractive people. I like attractive people also, but they sometimes seem too normal oder standard. Alan Rickman is attractive, but not too standard in appearance. Snape from the Bücher is unattractive and thus interesting to me. So I will likely claim that I find Alan Rickman, Snape oder any combination of those two to be attractive. I know I am weird, I have come to terms with this. Maybe there are others who think similarly.
Also can Du blame the movie creators for hiring an attractive man to play Snape? Sure generated fandom.

I Liebe book Snape. I think he's very attractive; not because of looks, but because of his personality. It's what he does (risking his life to save the son of the woman who never loved him, his sarcastic-ness, his temper, all of it) that I fell in Liebe with.

I can only speak for my person, I had fallen in love, obsession with Severus since book 2/CoS in 2000, I didn't know of Alan back then. So for me, I can say I love, severely obsessive Liebe Severus Snape for whom he is.

Does Alan look like Severus? Well, the wig, the clothing and even some of his mannerisms doesn't hurt none, otherwise Alan Rickman is a fantastic Actor who knows exactly how to bring the role, the Character to life.

I remember too, I hadn't seen the 1st movie as it was still being made, GoF, when Snape picked up his Spy role again, I was seriously worried about him. In 2001, that's when I saw the 1st pic of Snape, and even then I didn't know Mr.Rickman, but I fell even into deeper obsession with Severus.

Umm.......They r the same person. and who cares if he has black hair? It's just a roll and he doesn't look that different. And the size of ur nose is something u can't change without a nose job. I think that Alan would be smart enough not to do that just for one roll. I also think that he does a very good job of playing Snape, he's a very good actor. And a lot of ppl like him in the book's and movies, so I disagree, in my option he's hot as Snape and as himself.

I think when Fans refer to Snape at hot, they are referring to the movie version - Alan Rickman's character portrayal of him. I also think the Alan Rickman Sheriff of Nottingham is hot, but not in the other Filme because ugly men portray him XP. The nasty, greasy version is the book version of Snape in his originality. Strangely enough, I watched the Filme before I read the books, and when I read the Bücher I wasn't able to visualize the Alan/Snape - just Snape in his original, sallow, unattractive, greasy version. I know what Du mean, and it obviously frustrates Du a great deal when people think Snape is hot, because it is obviously the movie version of him. Then again, there are a few people who are attracted to the original book version Snape, too. Personally, I think the book and movie Snapes have slightly different personalities, too. Alan's Snape is Mehr calm and collected, wheareas the original book Snape has a nasty temper and goes off screaming and throwing a major fit over something. I Liebe both the movie and book Snape, even though they're different. And yes, I do know the diff between Alan and Snape. Personally, I think ANY character as portrayed Von Mr. Rickman is hot as hell. =)

Some might, but I'd say the majority of people who've joined this Fan club - Serverus Snape - did so because they really liked his character and yes even found his Beschreibung in the book as appealing. Ever heard of the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder?" To *ME* slim is much Mehr appealing than muscle bound oder overweight. Dark eyes (let alone black ones) just about wet my nickers. I kind of have a thing for big noses so that's got the sniffer covered. I Liebe dark haired men, specially if the have long hair (Snape's could be longer) and I don't mind pale sallow skin since it usually comes with the absence of spots pimples etc. But what makes Snape's character really hot to me is the fact that he's intelligent. There's nothing hotter than an intelligent articulate man with an impassive collected demeanour - those 3 qualities alone can outshine a vast amount of imperfections.

Yes, I agree with my fellow Fans here. We are mature enough not to confuse Alan and Severus. Besides, we're here to have a good time.
