Why would anyone go and see Bruno a piece of disgusting film. We walked out half way thru to explicit, rude racial should be banned.

I think it is kind of a "wake-up call" for the ones who are always judging the others just 'cause they're different on some way.

SBC doesn't spare anyone oder anything, all the least himself. My idea of the world did change after seeing both Borat and Brüno. This person has such an extended sense of humor. I've always thought I have the worst kind of sense of humour (in addition to being apt, I happen to be a female in a technical profession). Rather rough than lame!! Both of those films were full of beauty plus the Liebe story in Brüno was fantastic! Gustaf Hammarsten did a great job and the scene with the fight with 'Straight Dave' was extremely strong. Grotesque and highly sensitive at the same time, great accomplishment.

Hahaha... Dude, it was hilarous, don't be so shelterd. This kind of thing is expected from Sacha, Du shouldn't went to have seen it if Du would overreact to it. I remember laughing at the quote in my sleep:
"Brüno: Look at the four of us; we are so like the Sex in the City girls!
Donny: Oh no, we aren't either!
Brüno: Which one are you, Donny?
Donny: I ain't any one of them, I'm Donny.
Brüno: That is such a Samantha thing to say!"

I understand where you're coming from. I don't really want to see it again myself. I could handle Borat - I thought Borat was genius, but Bruno just took explicit to a whole new level.

That being sagte I think Sacha Baron Cohen is saying a lot. There are some daring people around these days, but no one who is Merida - Legende der Highlands enough to do what Bruno does in front of the very people who claim to hate him the most. The reactions Du get from everyone are real and I think it's quite a valuable commentary on homophobia in America.

So I say good on him for doing it. It's just a shame that most people who would learn a lesson from it are too caught up in the graphics to really think about the message behind it.
