Greetings from the village that they call the Moy! It's been great to be back Home for a few days. The past few months have certainly been a whirlwind with rehearsals and the first half of the tour; and some much needed downtime with my family and Friends has been great! I'm still digging through all the post, trying to get caught up- Du all are amazing! I am so very blessed to have such great Fans and friends, I can't say it enough! I also see that "In Time" is back towards the oben, nach oben of the best sellers Liste on CdBaby! Wow! Thank Du so much for all your support-I know that means you've been spreading the word, and I'm very grateful! I think as we approach Thanksgiving in the Weiter few weeks, it really has dawned on me just how much I have to be thankful for. I think it’s certainly true to say that Du don’t realize what true joy really is until Du have it taken from you. However, surrounding yourself back with the real people that matter is certainly the way to get through it and prove that a few bad people can’t be let destroy everything. Here’s to a much happier twelve months ahead!
Speaking of which, thanks so much for all the kind birthday messages, cards and gifts I received personally, online and through the post from you. Overwhelming as always!! I just need to get a bigger house – I’m just lucky I live here Von myself! If I ever get round to getting someone, she’s gonna have problems sharing with me and all my stuff!! (I hope that doesn’t put off any potential candidates!! : ) )
I also want to say a word of thanks to all of Du who suggested myself as a nominee for the Irish Musik Awards. It’s really an honour to be even nominated for such . I’m told the voting opens on December 1st, so my website, Twitter and Facebook accounts will keep Du up to datum as to how Du go about doing that, as will the various RK straße teams I have no doubt!! : )
Soon we'll be back out on the road touring the Weihnachten half of the tour. I know you'll all really enjoy it and hopefully I'll see many of Du at a Zeigen along the way. That means Weihnachten itself is soon on the way as well. Remember last Jahr when I asked if everyone could share "Not Far Apart" with your family and friends, and your local radio stations? Many of Du did, and I was so grateful for the support from all of you, and humbled Von the stories Du shared about the song helping to touch and heal those who had a need to hear it, especially during the holiday season. There were many radio stations, however, that were willing to give the song a listen, but sagte we were too late for getting it into the programming schedule for airing. So, can we try again? Let's share "Not Far Apart" again this year! If Du were successful in getting the song on the air in your area, give them a call/drop them a note and remind them to give it some airplay again this year. If Du had a station tell you, "try again Weiter year"-now's the time!! ; ) I'll make sure we have a new thread in the Forum for all of Du to share your success stories, I loved Lesen them and hearing all the great ideas and feedback. If a station has any Fragen about the song, myself, oder the album, Du can direct them to my website, and they can use the contact page there, oder drop a note at admin@ryankellymusic.com with their contact information for follow-up. Let's see how many stations in how many countries we can get to air "Not Far Apart" this year! The other good news is that the song will be available in the Weiter few days as a single download on CDBaby.com and subsequently on iTunes and other Musik sites, so Du can also direct people there as well if they don’t want to buy the whole album just yet, oder would like to send someone the single first of all.
For all who don’t know, “In Time” is now also available for purchase through the Celtic Thunder Shop at link and I’m pleased to say that Declan has informed me that it’s selling really well there too. We’re finally getting the gospel of RK out there!! : )
Anyways, that’s probably enough information for today – I don’t want to overload Du all!! Being back Home is great for getting stuff done that I don’t have time for on the road, but I must admit my obsession to stay up and watch the NFL on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays to the early mornings is still playing havoc with my sleep! I must see if I can drop the NFL commissioner a line to see if he could make the games start a little earlier when I’m back home. Surely he’s a fan?! ; )
