i think he was just scared to be that forward and share his feelings, and part of me really wishes he had, but part also is glad that he didn't. i think if they had dated for a while it would have just ended badly and it would have been even worse that way.

I hate how the writers put him as a total ass. I really didn't like that...and then...she had to go with DEAN! Of ALL people! Omg. I'm so pissed.

she would have understood and all the comotion wouldnt have happend and he wouldnt have left because of everything.not telling her rund their relationship.i would have loved to see them in a relationship with her in college and him coming to visit her i think it would have made the show a even more interesting than it already was.and it would have been to see wat would happen with her meeting logen.

I hated Jess! He was bad news for Rory from the start.

I loved him so much! He may have had some issues but he was still a good person. And you could just see how much he loved Rory! I was so sad when he left:( They were so perfect for each other...

It wouldv'e been the right thing to do. If he really wanted to be with her he wouldv'e stayed either way.

Rory would have helped him, and they would have figured it out together. Rory did love him, she just couldn't really say it yet, and Jess loved her the moment they met so...

Jess always ran from his problems, when he didn't want to deal with something, it would have been nice if he had just faced the things he was scared of, things could have worked out a lot differently!

He was confused and shattered ..He was seeing everything falling through...He realized he have dissapointed Luke...and he wouldn't support to disappoint also Rory..a person that have ever belivied in him..and when his father showed up he tought that probably he could find something different and better for himself...He was too scared and confused to talk with Rory and explain to her something that not even he realized at all ! Certainly he was a coward becouse ran in front of difficulty but he had all the reason to be shattered...I think he would been write to Rory later when he was in California to explain his point of view...I'm sure that Rory meanted him although she was disappointed and suffered pain of losing him..
