July 4, 1776 - After various changes to Jefferson's original draft, a vote was taken late in the afternoon of July 4th. Of the thirteen colonies, nine voted in favor of the Declaration; Two, Pennsylvania and South Carolina voted No; Delaware was undecided and New York abstained.
John Hancock, President of the Continental Congress, was the first to sign the Declaration of Independence.
I know the fourth may seem just about fireworks and paties but it is infact a great Tag in history. If Du got back to look it over Du will see that for many years America struggled to become independant. We were onlt thirteen colonies at the time, and if Du think about it thats not a lot; compared to what we are now. Just think of how much work our ancestors had to go through to get us to where we are now. When Du are watching those fireworks, oder parting it up at parties, take a moment to think that if it wasn't for our four fathes we woouldn't be able to do that.

Kenari: They will find me and kill me. They’ve grown so much smarter than from the beginning. Mother, they know how to talk to each other without sound. They will track me down and kill me.
Mother: *puts hands on Kenari’s shoulders and shakes her* Du can make it, I promise you. Du have to remember…
Kenari: *Jerks up straight to find herself Weiter to a feuer almost burnt out and in a sleeping bag covered in beads of sweat from her dream* I-It was just a dream. I’m… I’m OK. They haven’t found me ye- *a twig snaps causing every noise in the forest to silence* W-Who’s there?
