"What? What did Du do?" I handed her the ticket. "Oh my goodness! It's tickets for Jonny Cosmo! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She squealed. She hugged me so tight, I couldn't breathe. Then Miyako was skipping towards us.
"Hey, Du two! Did Du hear? Minoru invited me to a fashion show!"
"Kaoru got me a ticket to the Jonny Cosmo movie!" she shouted back. Miyako gave me a confused look so I showed her my plan with the dust. Man, it' so easy to use when things are minor. But it's seeps my energy.
"So, what do Du want to do? I heard that school is out do to a snowstorm that's going to start at 9:00." Miyako asked.
"Well, I'm going to the park to practice some soccer." I said. Then my phone rang. "Hello?"
"Kaoru, it's me. I want Du to be Home at 5:00 sharp tonight. I have something to discuss." Oh, no. It's my dad.
"Ok, dad. I will." I hung up, then turned to Momoko and Miyako. "My dad sagte to be Home Von 5:00."
"Well, maybe he's gotten Du something yummy." suggested Momoko.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but he doesn't have any treats. I hope he didn't get my attendance record." Later that day, I prepared to go home. Then I sensed Butch contacting me. 'What is it?"
'It worked. He won't stop talking about it, though. How about you?'
'Yeah. But I'm still trying to recover from the hug she gave me.'
'Well, it's time to watch some football. See Du in person tomorrow.'
'You too.' We left mind chat. I checked my phone to see the time. "Uh, oh! I only have 5 minutes!" I raced to the house, gasping for breath. "Ok, I'm here. Now what's so important Du wanted to talk to me about?"
