will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday May 5th at 10pm, it has been announced.

sees some of literature’s most famously terrifying characters – including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the novel Dracula – become embroiled in Victorian London. The series is produced by Neal Street Productions and stars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, Reeve Carney, Harry Treadaway, Helen McCrory, Danny Sapani and Simon Russell Beale.

The show’s ten episode second season will find Vanessa Ives and Ethan Chandler forming a deeper bond as the group, including Sir Malcolm, Dr. Frankenstein, and Sembene, unite to banish the evil forces that threaten to destroy them. Meanwhile, Dorian Gray, the Creature and Brona are all waging battles of their own. Patti LuPone will guest star as a mysterious character of great importance in Vanessa’s past.
