The members of The Devil Wants Peace were in the process of recording a new album. It was Valentine's Day, and John was in a Mehr cheerful mood than usual. Peter said, "You're in a good mood, John. What's the occasion, mate?" John replied, "You're Schauspielen like I'm never in a good mood here. Am I usually not in a good mood?" Stan said, "You usually are in a good mood, but you're in an especially good mood." Allen said, "They're right. What are Du so cheerful about." John said, "I have a datum with Caryn tonight. The two of us are going to have a nice abendessen at her Favorit Italian restaurant, and afterwards, we're going to have a walk in the park, if it's not too cold." Allen said, "Way to go, John!" Peter said, "That's all very nice, but Du know that Du didn't have to wait until Valentine's Tag to go on this special date." John said, "But this is our first real Valentine's Tag together, and I want to make this extra special for Caryn." Stan said, "If Du want to make it memorable, just spend the Tag with her. Du don't have to do anything special. Caryn loves Du for you, John." John knew that Caryn loved him, but he wasn't about to let her down. However, he had no idea that things wouldn't go as he planned at all.
