One day, after the members of New Religion had finished their breakfast, Mark, their manager, came to visit. He said, "I have some exciting news. A band from Portland has heard about you, and they want to collaborate on a new album with you." Carl asked, "Portland, Oregon oder Massachusetts?" Mark replied, "Oregon." Paul asked, "Which band is it?" Mark said, "They're called The Devil Wants Peace." Lola said, "Oh, I've heard about those guys. I have their album, Out of the Dark Ages." Erin asked, "How did they find out about us?" Mark said, "Apparently, their bassist stumbled across one of your Musik videos. He looked up some information and learned that you're among the few modern rock bands, if not only, who refuses to use auto-tune. He was very impressed, so he asked the manager to contact me." Carl asked, "Are the members of this band nice?" Mark said, "I don't know, but I spoke with their manager, Lenny, and he was very nice." Lola said, "I can't wait to meet them. It's our first time collaborating with another band, and it's a band that has been around for nearly thirty years." The Weiter day, the members of The Devil Wants Peace arrived in Oak Ridge. After everything was at their hotel, Carl gave them directions to the neighborhood. Erin, Paul, Carl, and Lola came out of their house to see the members of The Devil Wants Peace arrive. John was the first to speak. He said, "My name's John. I'm the lead vocalist and guitarist." Allen said, "I'm Allen, and I play rhythm guitar." Peter said, "I'm Peter, and I play bass." Stan said, "And I'm Stan, and I play drums." Erin said, "It's nice to meet Du all. I'm Erin, and I am the lead singer and guitarist." Paul said, "I'm Paul, and I play gitarre as well." Carl said, "I'm Carl, the drummer." Lola said, "And I'm Lola, the bassist." John said, "It's certainly nice to meet all of you." Carl asked, "Where are Du from originally?" Erin said, "That's a good question. I noticed Peter speaks with a bit of an accent." John said, "Well, Peter is from Liverpool, England originally. Allen is from Huntington, California. Stan is from Montauk, New York." Erin asked, "What about you, John?" He said, "I'm from Devil's Garden, North Carolina." Erin said, "No way! My mates and I are from Pine Grove." John said, "Pine Grove was six miles away from where I grew up, until that unusual F2 tornado hit. Now it's eight miles." Erin and John laughed. Paul said, "Okay, before the two of Du realize you're actually long-lost cousins, let's go inside." Everyone agreed. Lola said, "I think now would be a good time to start dinner." John said, "I'll be happy to fix dinner." Erin said, "John, you're a guest. It's not right for the guest to fix dinner." He smiled and said, "At least let me help. It's the least that I can do to return the favor." Lola started dinner, and John helped. As the eight musicians ate dinner, Carl said, "You certainly know your way around the kitchen, John." John said, "That's very nice of Du to say so." Lola said, "It's the truth. Du did an excellent job on the pork loin. I always burn it." He said, "I'll Zeigen Du how to not burn it sometime." She said, "Thanks, John." After dinner, Erin asked, "Did your mother teach Du how to cook, John?" He said, "My mother never taught me anything, except what NOT to do to people." She said, "I'm sorry, John." He said, "It's all right. My grandmother taught me how to cook. She also taught me basic morals." Paul asked, "Where is your grandmother now?" John said, "She passed away when I started high school." Lola said, "I'm sorry to hear that." After the küche was cleaned, Paul decided to let his dogs, Yukon and Nunavut, as well as the band's mascot, Fritz, outside. The Hunde ran up to John and tackled him to the floor. They began licking his face. He laughed out loud. Paul said, "Get off of him." The Hunde ran to Paul. John got up, still laughing. Paul said, "I'm sorry about that." John said, "No, it's all right. I Liebe dogs." Paul asked, "Do Du have any?" John said, "I used to, but I don't now." Before they left for the hotel, the members of The Devil Wants Peace and the members of New Religion discussed a time they would meet in the recording studio the Weiter day.

After finishing her homework late in the afternoon that Friday, Grace decided to go for a bike ride. Her aunt asked, "Where are Du going, dear?" Grace said, "I'm just going for a bike ride to clear my head. That's all." Her aunt said, "All right. Be back in time for dinner, okay?" Grace said, "Okay." She went on, thinking about the day's event. It had been quite a rough Tag for poor Grace. She and her friend, Sabrina, talked about doubling up. Grace remembered what Sabrina had sagte to her. "If Du don't double up with me, I won't be your friend anymore." This hurt Grace deeply. Why is that...

When Grace went into her house, her aunt and uncle were waiting on her. Her aunt asked, "Did Du have a good day, dear?" Grace said, "Yes. I just found out that for the coming school year, I could double up and graduate early." Her uncle said, "Really?" She said, "Yes, and I'm considering it." Her aunt asked, "Grace, are Du sure Du want to do this?" Grace said, "Yeah." Her uncle said, "Eleventh grade is going to be your hardest Jahr academically. If Du combine Du twelfth grade Jahr along with it, that might make it even harder." She said, "I'm willing to face the challenge." Her aunt said,...

Grace was just finishing her Sekunde Jahr of high school. She enjoyed the experience for the most part. Although some of her Friends had moved away within the last year, she still had a few good Friends left. Later, she learned that for her third Jahr of high school, she could double up and graduate early. She sagte to herself, "It might not be such a bad idea." Later, she talked with her friend, Michael. She said, "I'm thinking about doubling up for the coming school year." He asked, "Why would Du want to do that?" I said, "Well, I get to graduate early if I do." He said, "The eleventh grade...

It was time to start school once again. I would be starting the seventh grade. After school, I immediately went jogging with my puppy, Redford and my friend, Brian. Unfortunately, Brian scared me at one point. He sagte to me, "Aubrey, we need to stop." I asked, "Why? What's wrong?" He said, "I feel light-headed." He then collapsed at my feet in a dead faint. Redford and I stayed close to Brian. I was prepared to let Redford off the lead to find help. Fortunately, after about thirty seconds, Brian came to. He asked, "What just happened?" I said, "You fainted. Are Du okay?" He said, "I don't...

One day, I went jogging with my dog, Redford. As we were jogging, I tripped and fell. As I fell, my ankle made a horrible cracking sound. It sound like the snapping of a baum branch breaking. I didn't try to get up at first. As I was lying there, Redford licked my face. I was still holding the lead, and he didn't offer to slip out of his halsband, kragen and run off. I only had Redford for a few weeks, and he was already strongly bonded to me. I tried to get up, but my ankle was really hurting. Reluctantly, I let Redford off of the lead and said, "Go get help!" He took off. I sat there and held my throbbing...

I went on the Internet and found a dog breed selector. It had a series of Fragen regarding what I was looking for in a dog. The final results led me to a breed. It was the Siberian Husky, simply called Siberian oder Husky. I read about it, and I really liked the description. I talked with my parents about it. One day, I heard my parents talking. My father said, "Aubrey has been wishing she had a jogging companion." My mother said, "Yes, and the Siberian Husky is good for that." One morning, my parents woke me up. They said, "Come on. We're going on a trip." I asked, "Where are we going?" My...

One day, I almost picked up a pair of scissors to cut myself with. My father hid the pocket messer from me. I then saw my guitar. As I was strumming, a few words began to pop into my head. I got a notebook I wasn't using otherwise and a pen, and I wrote some words down. They were very sad, but they seemed to give me some comfort. Just then, my mother came into my bedroom and said, "Aubrey, your Friends are here." I came downstairs, and my Friends Chelsea, Sam, and Brian were standing at the door. I said, "Hi, guys. What brings your here?" Chelsea said, "We're going to the mall. My mother is...

In the months after Jim's untimely death, I remained very sad. Jim and I used to enjoy jogging together. I still enjoyed jogging, but it got lonely doing it alone. None of my other Friends were interested in that. The bullying really picked up. My remaining Friends would stand up for me, but that didn't stop the bullies from bullying me. Sometimes they would beat me. Many times, I would pretend I needed to use the restroom so that I could be alone to cry. One day, when I was sitting at home, I saw a pocket knife. I honestly don't know what I was thinking, if I was thinking at all, but I began...

Jim and I were two kids growing up in the foothills of North Carolina. We were the best of friends. We did everything together. We even had numerous inside jokes. We very seldom disagreed. When we did, it was always over something stupid. In the end, we would always make up and laugh about how ridiculous we were. Jim and I loved each other in a way that only best Friends could. We even had the same birthday. We never thought that we would ever separate, but one day, we did. One day, when we were only twelve, we were riding the bus to go home. Suddenly, the bus slipped on a patch of ice. The...

The members of New Religion went out of town to spend some time with their families. On the last Tag of doing so, they spent some time at a shopping mall. Suddenly, gunshots were heard, and everyone was scattered about. The members of New Religion and their families suddenly got separated in the chaos. Erin and her brother, Daniel, managed to find an emergency exit. Paul managed to find a storage room to hide in. Carl and his family soon found a way out. Lola's family managed to escape, but Lola got shot. She proceeded to lie on the floor, pretending to be dead. The pain was intense, but she...

The members of New Religion went to the recording studio to record a humorous song that Erin had written. Lola said, "I admire that Du were able to keep your humor, despite being injured." Erin said, "Sometimes bad things happen, and there's nothing Du can do about it." Paul said, "That's true. I feel silly for suggesting we leave Miami." Carl said, "Don't feel silly, Paul. Oak Ridge is safer in terms of crime. Besides, no place is one hundred percent safe." Erin said, "Carl's right. Living in fear of bad things happening is the worst way to live. The members of New Religion went to the airport to fly to Oak Ridge. The Hunde had to ride in crates in a different compartment. The flight went smoothly. The only problem was that one of Paul's Hunde howled the entire time. If anyone asked, he denied ownership. Everyone made it to Oak Ridge all right. Once they arrived at their new home, Erin, Paul, Carl, and Lola unpacked their things and settled in. That night, they instantly went to bed. They were exhausted from their trip. The Weiter morning, Paul was the first one up. He decided to fix breakfast for everyone. While he was making breakfast,...

Things were going really well. Suddenly, a former employee came busting through the door. He was not happy about the fact he had been fired, and he held the building at gunpoint. "What do we do now?" Erin whispered. Lola whispered back, "I don't know." Paul whispered, "I have an idea. We'll leave our tips and sneak out the back." While the former employee was confronting the manager, Erin, Lola, and Paul left...

Lola said, "I don't think anything can possibly go wrong tonight." Carl nodded in agreement. Just then, Nunavut started growling. "What? Are Du jealous now?" Paul remarked. It was the summer of 2017. This summer was a little sad, but it also had happy points. Early in the summer, I was sitting in my bedroom. I intended for her to be a gift for his tenth birthday, but he threw her against the wall. He probably broke her leg." My uncle said, "And Du didn't take her to the vet?!" The unfamiliar voice said, "No." My uncle said, "You know what, I'll gladly take this welpe from you! Now, get off of...

When I started the eleventh grade in August 2016, I was still grieving over Millie. One day, I had a talk with the guidance counselor at my school. I told her, "If I had known Millie was going to die, I would have been Mehr patient with her. There were times I Lost my temper with her and just lashed out at her." The guidance counselor put her hand on my shoulder. She said, "Autumn, that's not what Millie remembers. In fact, she told me about all the times Du and Glenn stood up to bullies for her." I felt better after that talk. I later met Glenn in the hall, and we walked to the lunchroom...

The summer of 2016 started out rather badly. One day, my aunt and uncle and I visited with my paternal grandparents. They hit the car and drove off without any regard for what they had done. We all got out to see the damage. My aunt said, "It looks pretty bad. I'm glad everyone's all right."
