Lucas overrated?? He is the main character and he never gets love, he's hated by most OTH fans.
Brooke or Peyton are the most overrated in my opinion, they have both a lot of fans, but Peyton gets a lot of hate too...I guess Brooke, although I love her and she is one of my favorite characters

Brooke is the most overrated..Lucas and Peyton have alot of haters, so they are not overrated IMO.

Lucas is NOT overrated. Most of the fans either hate him or only like him in a certain pairing. He is the most underrated character on the show.

brooke and peyton are the most overrated forsure. but wheras i think brooke diserves the love she gets and peyton's just lame, people often think vice versa. but yea nate and hales are underrated, and well lucas is rightly hated by everyone lmfao. i only picked julian cuz like nibylandija said, i just dont get the hype lol.

As much as I loved her since season 5, I never got why she was loved so much during seasons 1-4. She seemed to me the most popular OTH character, and back then it was difficult for me to understand.

Nate is overrated too sometimes. I agree that Hales is often underrated, but Lucas deserves what he gets :P

its hilarious to me how so many people just worship Brooke. They act like the sun shines out of her ass or something lmao. i mean i like her character as much as the next person... but come on. the amount of hype over her is a little ridiculous. she has just as many faults, and short-comings as all of the other characters.. some people just refuse to admit it

Gotta go with Nathan. I'm sorry, but i've just never understood why he has so many fans. In my opinion, he doesn't bring a single thing to the show other than basketball. He is so boring and one demensional, his precious "game" is all that he has to offer

Next would be Brooke, but I love her too much to choose her over Nathan. I can atleast understand the love that people have for her. But Nathan... not so much lol.

For those who voted for Lucas...UHHH...He has more haters than lovers. As for Haley she's one of the underrated five. She is loved but most of the love goes to Brooke and Nathan. As for Peyton....well she is loved but she does have some haters so I would love for one person who voted for her explain why they picked her,because I don't think she's the MOST OVERRATED.For Brooke,I could understand but then again she is a complex character who can easily be liked. I love Brooke and I understand why a lot of people love her.Her bubbly personality in the high school seasons and her more mature,sophisticated personality in s5/s6/s7.I do think she is the SECOND MOST OVERRATED character but Nathan is by far the most.Lucas isn't my favorite character but he is definitely BETTER than Nathan.At least Lucas doesn't bore me as much.Nathan has always been my least favorite....

I mean duh. It's not like she's awesome, funny and beautiful. She's such a crappy friend. She went after Lucas behind Peyton's back in s1, spread the rumor about Haley being pregnant in s2, cut Peyton out in s3/4 when Peyton was just being honest to her.... God, such a horrible person! I don't know why everyone likes her. =S

Even though I'm on Team Brooke (hehe, you didn't expect this, right *inserts sarcasm*), I think that she's kind of overrated! I'm convinced that she's perfectly loved actually, but since she is the most popular character of the show, it's kinda normal that people think that she's overrated! I can find many reasons why she is loved (she definitely appeals to many different kinds of people) and that's why I'm not quite convinced that she's overrated!
However, Nate (and I really like him) is way too overrated IMO! I mean that, well, everyone likes him! I haven't seen any people who claim that they don't like him! His only competition is Brooke and Peyton! If Brooke has a few haters, he doesn't have any at all! And he definitely had his jerk moments... As for this season, he didn't even do anything else than hanging around with Jamie!
The most underrated character is Lucas, of course! He is the main character and people don't even like him! *rolls eyes* Well, I don't like him either, but...
