Very hypocritical, especially since she's not exactly perfect herself

I'm not even surprised by the results though, lol. I would love for people to give actual examples, but that never seems to happen.

Anyway, my choice would either be Brooke or Haley. Brooke for sleeping with Nathan and then freezing Peyton out for kissing Lucas/having feelings for him (can we PLEASE not start a huge debate about this lol), for stating that she was "Always" there for Peyton, when she wasn't there for her for the majority of season 4 when Peyton was going through some of the worst things of her life. ( "Brooke this has been one of the worst years of my life, and I needed my best friend now more then ever, but you, you cut me out of your life because I was honest with you, when you were never ever honest with me! ")

I would also say Haley, for all of the Chris Keller stuff. In Season 4: ( L: I was thinking that she was dying. She's lying in my arm, blood is pouring out of her leg and she kissed me. And anyway, you know.. Do you really wanna go there? // H: What does that mean? // L: What leg were you shot in when you kissed Chris Keller? ") and then again in Season 5, although nobody called her out on it, it was pretty hypocritical to talk to Lucas about how marriage is this huge commitment and everything, and not even seem to remember that she kissed Chris Keller after she was married.

i don't think being a hypocrite is a huge characteristic of any of teh characters, though they all have their mometns just like all human beings. but i guess it fits peytons personality more. eg) she was angry at brooke for never being honest with her when she was never honest with lucas, she was angry at brooke for being angry at her because she was honest when she wasnt being honest to lucas, she was angry at brooke for sleeping with her ex boyfriend when she had in the past fooled around with brookes current boyfriend and was just about to sleep with brookes ex boyfriend herself. she was a bitch to haley when haley came back for hurting her friend (nathan) when she'd been the other woman in her best friends relationship and she'd also supported haleys decision after haley left, she was angry at lucas for moving on with lindsay(tla and all that crap) when she'd had a serious relationshop with julian in the mean time, she had a whine about brooke not being there for her during her stalker shit (the only thing brooke wasnt there for her for) when peyton has never really shown a penchant for being there for brooke (when brooke gets bashed peyton moves out and leaves knowing brooke will be losing angie soon), when lucas witnesses peyton and nathans inncoent kiss she is insulted because she 'wouldnt do that to haley' but it was alright for her to do it to brooke, then theres her whole personality in s1 and by that i mean her lifestyle, she has a distain for the popular crowd and the lives they lead yet she chooses to be one of them. i could probably go on.

Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have. Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie. Out of all the characters that reminds me of peyton the most.

I was thinking either Haley or Peyton. Neither of them are huge hypocrites and I like both characters, but they do seem to have these morals & virtues they think they apply to their life so they hold everyone else to those same morals & virtues, but in reality they often fall short themselves. For Peyton I was thinking pretty much the same thing as Broody_4_Cheery, plus the fact that she always got so mad about everyone always leaving- and then she got up & left- left her best friend, her company, her new bro & sister in law, her nephew, and her home. Not that I'm saying she made the wrong decision, it was probably the right decision for her- but it was the same thing that upset her for many seasons on the show. Peyton also told Brooke she would never hurt her & needs to trust her and then in the next episode hooked up with Brooke's boyfriend... but I think that's just being a liar, not really a hypocrite.

But Haley was probably the most judgmental of all the characters, and while I absolutely adore Haley- she really has no reason to be so judgmental when she has difficulty being a highly moral person. So I'd say she was probably the most hypocritical.
- she gets sooo mad at Nathan when he gets into physical altercations, yet Haley has punched/slapped/shoved at least 3 different people on the show (Chuck's mom, Renee, Rachel).
- she has told Jamie not to lie numerous times yet Haley lied to Jamie about giving Dan the card Jamie made, and she's lied to Nathan about kissing Chris Keller.
- she judged Lucas for hooking up with Brooke (a bad girl with a reputation for sleeping around) while she was hooking up with Nathan (a bad boy with a reputation for sleeping around).
- As rorymariano stated, Haley has judged Lucas for cheating in his relationships while she cheated on her own husband.
- she got mad at Brooke for cheating on a calculus test when Haley stated in the first season that she's cheated on an exam before (even though Haley was probably more upset that Brooke stole Haley's key than cheated).
- She tells Lucas marriage is a "commitment" and a few episodes later tells Nathan she wants a divorce.

Those are just the first few examples that came to my head... I'm sure there are a bunch more. I love Haley, but she holds people to a certain standard that she can't even live up to.

Oh please they all are. Haley, Lucas, Brooke, Peyton. Nathan's really the only one who escapes being that way. Of the main characters I'd say Haley is probably the most hypocritical but overall I'd have to go with Mouth.
