They wouldn't be able to use them because ABC is owned by the Walt Disney Company. Dreamworks and all of its characters are not. They would be sued for copyright if they included those characters.

Not possible. However the "guardians"... Santa, tooth fairy, Easter bunny ect aren't copyrighted and it would be fun to see the childhood legends on the show. They wouldn't be the ones from the movie or book of course but an OUAT original version.

Honestly I feel like even if they could legally, they shouldn't. It would really be overdoing it and make it look like they're running out of ideas. However as Min said, childhood legends aren't copyrighted so they'd make for some interesting 'extra' holiday specials.
