It’s Official: Nina Dobrev’s Fear Gene Has Gone Missing! 

There are lots of things to be scared of in this crazy world (loneliness, clowns, and bed bug-infested hotel rooms, just to name a few), but based on her latest round of social-media posts, Nina Dobrev pays them no mind. She’s plucky and adventurous, and when she’s not busy chasing her dreams, traveling the globe, and jumping out of planes, the 26-year-old actress loves to dive to new depths — literally.

In a recent spell-binding photo — snapped while vacationing in Hawaii — the brunette beauty is seen enjoying a rare moment of peace and tranquility. She’s one with nature, swimming around the deep, blue sea like the undercover mermaid she is. Totally casual, right? Not so much when there’s a shiver of sharks roaming nearby.

“Fun, fearless, super sweet, intelligent, ridiculously talented, & she likes sharks & marine life too!” marine researcher and shark expert Ocean Ramsey raved, singing Nina’s praises. She continues, “Nina impressed me so much, with her enthusiasm, fun, down-to-earth, live life to the fullest personality but what I really admire was her kindness & respect of the sharks the ocean and concern for their plight and willingness to even volunteer to help speak up for them & help raise awareness.”

Death? Danger? Ha! Nina laughs in the face of both.

And in case splashing around the ocean with majestic creatures — who just happen to have razor-sharp teeth — wasn’t daring enough, this daredevil decided to turn into a bird, as well.

Basically you haven’t lived until you’ve soared through the air, singing “I Believe You Can Fly” at the top of your lungs:

We may not be medical experts, but we have a strong suspicion Nina was born without a “fear” gene.
