Nina Dobrev & Ashley Benson In Talks To Star…

It looks like Zac Efron’s about to get a pretty gorgeous leading lady — and it may just be an ex-vampire. That’s right, Nina Dobrev is on the shortlist of actresses to take on that epic red one-piece in the remake of ‘Baywatch.’

There’s one thing we know: no one can take over for Pamela Anderson and Yasmine Bleeth — but Paramount is sure going to try. We told you that Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron will be the male stars (and naturally will be shirtless), but Paramount Pictures is now searching for the female lead, and there’s reportedly a list stacked with ladies that we’d love to see!

Here are the actors being looked at, according to our sister publication, Deadline: Alexandra Daddario,

‘s Denyse Tontz. Naturally, we’d be happy with any of those and Nina would obviously be at the top of the list since we’ve been in mourning ever since she left 

The movie will be directed by Seth Gordon, and we know the male leads are 

excited about it. “It’s BIG. Me and bud @ZacEfron been talkin’ bout this one for a long time. And someone get my baby oil. #RatedR 💪,” Dwayne tweeted after the news came out. Zac also retweeted, and wrote “So stoked brother – baby oil for 2 plz 😎.”

We told you before that Pamela Anderson isn’t so into the remake. She actually chatted with HollywoodLife.com exclusively at PETA’s 35th anniversary celebration on Sept. 30, saying, “It’s not gonna happen, dude. Good luck with that one!” Well, she was clearly wrong.
