I think the book because it has Mehr action and its really interesting.

the book, the Zeigen pales in comparison.

The one I saw was a complete mess. It started out good, Von following the basic storyline of the book, only in Zufällig order and with small changes.
That is, until about halfway, when they started making big changes (to fulfill there own sick fantasies) and skiping important events from the book. They even skiped a, now major, character altogether. Von the end, they had completly stoped following the book and made up there own storyline that was complete bullshit. And they even gave it the worst, most cliche villain ever: The Devil. (WHAT!?) There was never any mention oder even hint of The Devil before, why is he suddenly the main villain? It was so bad it was almost unwatchable.

Also, the book is still ongoing. So.... yeah.

I haven't read the Manga yet, but I have watched the Zeigen and I like the Zeigen a lot more. :D
