I like the Lion King and 101 dalmatians too :)

Wow. I love this movie, but i really like so many of the others too. Tough pick. :)

Nearly a perfect movie. Sure, a little exagerrated there, but I LOVE it love it love it.

While I love every original Disney movie (I sang along with every song when I saw the Lion King 'cause my babysitter had a cassette tape that I listened to before seeing the movie), Fantasia is just amazing. To this day the 'Night on Bald Mountain' section freaks me out a little. But cheers to Walt Disney to thinking of applying new animated pieces to classic classical music.

The Nightmare Before Chirstmas kicks ASS

This was the film that started the animation revival for Disney in the early 90s. I remember I used to be able to sing all the songs. "Darling it's better, down where it's wetter. Take it from meeee!!!" Ahh, sweet sweet nostalgia ... =)

Well, I like musicals, but my feeling is that the best movies tend not to be musicals. To my mind, this question is missing a lot of contender picks, but then why wouldn't it? It's an enormous question.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite (I had to take about ten minutes to think about it); how do you choose between Akira and Nausicaa, Lensman and Crusher Joe? In the end, though, my favorite has to be Laputa. Beyond being a fantastic adventure film, I love this one because I watched it in a small conference room with Hayao Miyazaki himself when he premiered his English-language dub in San Jose back in the 80s. I'm still amazed that I didn't go up and genuflect when the end credits finished.

If you have to watch it in English instead of the original audio track, try to find the version he directed (resourceful anime fans can find it), not the trash from Pixar, which is truly, sadly execrable. John Lasseter is great for many things, but his English dubs of Miyazaki's films are criminally bad.

i watched the lion king in the first grade & it made me CRY A RIVER . i always laughed at that but then i watched it last year & it made me cry again lmfao =P

But I also like Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Stoey, 101 Dalmatians, Aladin, Bug's Life and Nightmare Before Christmas

I love most of them, but my favorite's not on here and I'm being lazy right now cause I didn't want to find a pic to Peter Pan, lol.
