I hate going to the theater, so if I'm driving all the way there and spending money, I know damn well what I'm getting into, and I ain't leaving 'til the lights come on.

I don't know if this counts but I was taking a film class in college and when they showed us Blade Runner (the original one) half ways through the film I walked out of the class. I was paying tuition, so technically I was paying to watch that movie. Oddly I did like Blade Runner 2049.

Edit to add:
I did almost walked out of one the Thor movies, I only stayed because there was a heat wave, I did not want to go outside to experience said heat wave.

Never happened to me, even if I didn't like a movie. Even at home, if I start a movie, I will always finish it XD I have issues with not completing stuff, I would rather suffer through an awful movie than quit and having it bother me *shrugs*

Many times. Usually when some movie is too violent for my taste, like "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief". I left my best friend sitting there alone when they start a sword fight. I can't stand violence at all. I like Greek mythology a lot. That was the only reason we went to the movies in the first place. If I read the books before, I'd never go to see that movie!
