35 years ago... for about 2 weeks.

I was taking part in a summer camp and one time we all went inside the working area and got to see how stuff was made. I remember seeing all the Happy Meal toys and getting really excited o.O

working there isn't even that bad you guys need to get over yourselves

I worked for McDonald's years ago when I was younger, for about 5 years.
I know some people look down at McDonald's but it's gret training ground for the kids. I enjoyed working for Maccas a lot more than some of the more higher-paid, so-called classier jobs I have.

EDIT: House34, in Australia you have to be at least 14 years and nine months old to work for McDonald's.
Well, it was when I worked for them - dunno if the age has changed since.

I have three cousins, Bryan, Jessica and Jr., both Bryan and Jessica work at the same McDonald's, Jessica works with her boyfriend Ray. I plan to get a job at the same place.

the 1 time i did was when i was 15 in i think july and it was hard work so i quit and now i just eat the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive already seen how all its made. when i was at the camp program, we went to mcdonalds and we got to see how everything was made. it was so cool! and at the end, we each got to make our own sundea! it was fun and great!

My mother used to work at McDonalds when she was younger. The rules were you had to change in the back as they were worried germs could spread from the outside on your clothes to the food. From what i learned from KFC (which i worked at 4 years previously) they still do.
They used this specially designed vacuum that sucked all the fat from the fryers, cleaned it and pumped it back in. Saves money and time, until you had to clean the vacuum which she said was a bugger as you had different cleaning equipment and methods for each part of the vacuum.
All the burgers were brought in fresh every two days and any left over were frozen, the salads were brought in fresh every two days etc etc

i would go for it in a few years if they would hire me

I am not crazy about working there but, it's easier to get a job there than a lot of other places and there are definite perks to working there if you like their food.
