Hmm. Good question. Maybe they did go back to their hometown, but I don't think so. I think staying in Australia, you grow accustomed to living there. I think Abby (ie) & Maddy (ie) didn't want to leave Avery & Pete. Just a guess though, because that's what I would do. I wouldn't want to leave Avery or Pete either. :P And I think that their parents were eventually successful with the inn, so really none of them would have a good reason for them to leave the Down Under. But hey, just my opinion.

And for people who aren't that big on the Olsen's films: This question comes from the film 'Our Lips Are Sealed' so if you haven't watched it yet, go ahead and do it.

The Parker sisters would not be very welcome at their old school back home, and they were havin a great time in Sydney. My guess is that they would set up a postie job for their Dad and teach their mom how to surf. Then they could stay with Pete and Avery in the land of OZ.
