Lilongwe, Malawi – Pop diva Madonna, who arrived in Malawi Monday, has left the southern African country with promises of twice-a-year visits.

“Malawi has become my Sekunde home,” Madonna sagte Thursday night at a farewell reception organized Von members of staff of her Raising Malawi, the charity she set up for her Malawi cause.

“I will be coming here twice every year,” she promised.

Madonna first visited Malawi in 2006 during which she adopted a Malawian boy, David Banda, now four.

She adopted her Sekunde Malawian child, daughter Mercy Chifundo James – also now four, in 2009.
