I used to live in a very small town with a very small library and I asked the librarian how many books I could check out and she said, "100." I didn't think there was even a hundred books in the place.

But I go frequently. I actually go every few days. I'd get more and go less often, but I live within walking distance, so its just easier to get a couple and then go in 2-3 days again.

I get as many as i can carry, i read really fast so i am usually done with them by the time they are due and then i'm back for more

Ohhhh, you should see me. One after another. I am constantly there reading, studing, checking out books. I remember when I was a little kid I would go there and place hold after hold on tons of books. That summer I had about 60 check outs... I have 17 right now... XD I love to read.

generally there's a specific book that I want, so I go on the library's website and see if its available, and then I have to bother my mom into taking me there, but generally I get the big ones. :)

I'm a total bookworm, even the librarian says so in my school i can't get my head out of them, I usually have read 20 books, in 2 weeks which means logically 10 books a week. ;->

When i'm reading a book series I like to get all the books at one time.

about 3-5, I have a rule of 3 but sometimes I spot a manga I just have to have

well i am only aloud to take out 6 for 2 weeks but i can ring them up if i want them for another 2 weeks

1-2 at a time. usually from Joan Lowry Nixon-an amazing murder mystery writer. CHECK OUT HER SPOT!!! I love her books. I take 1-2 books out at a time so I can get into it without the plots getting confused---especially if its a series,like harry potter or the bartimaeus trilogy, i only get the 1st book then the ones following one at a time without getting any other books.(not including school books.)

It's pretty close and I'm usually in there at least once a week, so I've always got a few out.

Most I got was 9 in one go. It really helped me with my goodreads challenge.
