Wasn't what I wanted, ofcourse. But it was much better than I expected! I loved Lucas' comment about how Sawyer & Peyton team up against him, and get their way lol. I thought that was cute. And Haley's phonecall to Sawyer at the end was adorable. <333

All in all, I can't complain. I was honestly just expecting a "Peyton's fine", and that's it. So atleast my expectations were exceeded :)

i loved it! IMO it was the perfect balance of staying on focus for the purpose of lucas returning (haley/nathan), but still finding time to acknowledge that his wife and child do still exist. haley talking to sawyer on the phone was a particularly nice surprise, never saw that coming! and lucas just seemed so happy when talking about them. so i'm satisfied :D

Plus I think I'm having a better reaction to it than expected, because as minimal as it may have been... it was just so nice to finally hear SOME P+S acknowledgment. It was nice to hear Peyton mentioned, without it being something negative. And it was nice to hear anything at all about Sawyer, since we haven't heard a single thing about her in 3 years. I didn't expect mentions so little & simple to make me so happy, but just hearing of Peyton & Sawyer at all is kind of a breath of fresh air. If that makes sense. I think it was just what I needed, before the series ends. Not all that I wanted, necessarily... but all that I needed!

I have to say, I was worried that they weren't gonna get mentioned at all! It's probably mostly because of my extremely low expectations, but I was really happy and loved Peyton&Sawyer's mentions.
Now more mentions would've been awesome and I would like more mentions, but I'm happy with the ones we got! ;)

And yeah I agree with Kelly. The mentions weren't huge or amazing, but it was just refreshing to hear something about Peyton&Sawyer in a positive light. To hear that Lucas is still madly in love with his wife & see his face light up when he talks about his little girl. It just makes me wanna cry. Those mentions were much needed for me and I'm sure for other LP fans as well<33
