No, it is not real. It is apparently made up of a number of things including maple syrup, eggs, yogurt and food coloring, among others. Who knows what kind of bloodborne pathogens would be in the blood if it were real. Gene may look crazy, but he is really a very intelligent businessman. I am sure he is not about to infect himself with contaminated blood, too much money to be made out there!
