You’re currently lying in bed, waiting for your boyfriend, Justin, to come Home when Du suddenly hear a sound come from downstairs. Thinking nothing of it, Du bury your head into the book again - figuratively speaking, of course. It was a book Justin had gotten Du for your birthday and when Du finally got to Lesen it - Du just couldn’t stop. Your body tenses when another sound is heard. Normally, you’d blame it on the welpe Du and Justin had bought about six months Vor but since he was ‘visiting’ Pattie, Du couldn’t. Marking the page Du had been reading, Du place the book on the bedside tabelle and actually focus on listening now.
Du yelp quietly when there’s yet another sound and this time it wasn’t the old house and Du knew that Du had turned the TV off. This time, it Du are almost absolutely positive that it was a sound of a vase falling to the floor. Realizing this, Du begin to chew on your bottom lip. There is someone in the house. And you’re Home alone. Suddenly feeling very vulnerable, Du ponder about being quiet oder actually confronting the intruders. They probably thought that there was nobody Home considering Du had turned off most of the lights before going to bett - like Justin had told Du to do before he left for work. When he kissed Du goodbye, he had whispered; “Turn off the lights before Du go to bed. I’ll be right up with Du anyway and we can make sweet Liebe together. How does that sound, huh?” He had teased, with a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
Hearing a door downstairs slam, Du squeal - startled - and instinctively grab for your phone. Du turn of the Lesen light when Du remember that the door is open and if the intruders decide to come upstairs to take a look, they would obviously see the light shining through. Using your phone as a flashlight, Du slowly unwrap the covers from your body. Du walk toward the door, as lightly as Du can, and sneak a peek downstairs. Your breath catches in your throat when Du clearly see two shadows moving around.
Swallowing back a sob, Du clutch your phone and practically crawl away from the door. Du make your way to Justin’s side of the bed, the one furthest away from the door, and curl up on the floor - hopefully out of sight. With trembling fingers, Du schlagen, punsch in the number and bring it up to your ear. It rings and rings and Du silently pray that he picks up. Pick up, pick up, pick up! Please, pick up?
“Hello?” His voice crackles through the phone and Du catch yourself from letting out a sigh of relief. “Babe, Du there?”
“J-Justin?” It comes out as a Frage as Du break down. Sob after sob escapes your mouth and Du try your best to bite them back. Du couldn’t afford to let the intruders hear you. “Babe? Babe, what’s wrong?” Justin asks concerned. Hearing Du break down like that is hard for him, especially when he isn’t there.
“I-I think there’s someone in the house…” Du sob, your voice trembling. Du hear Justin’s sharp intake of breath and Du imagine him running a hand over his mouth. “Baby… I need Du to hide for me, okay? Go somewhere safe.” Du nod to yourself, before letting him know that you’re already out of sight. Du feel your breath quicken when there is another bang heard downstairs. “Stay there. Don’t make a sound. I promise, I’ll be Home as soon as I can, okay? I’ll come home, baby. Everything’s gonna be alright. I won’t let anyone hurt you. You’re gonna be okay, [Y/N]. Du hear me?” When Du don’t answer, he pressures Du until Du do. “Do Du hear me, [Y/N]? You’re gonna be okay.” “I-I’m scared, Justin…” Du whimper out and Du hear Justin sigh deeply.
“I know, baby, I know. Alfredo is calling the police now. I’m on my way, okay? I’ll be there soon, I promise. Du just have to be quiet and don’t move. Sit where Du are. I’ll come Home to you, babe.”
