I saw the man's thoughts, there were clusters of soldiers that ranged from six to ten stationed through out the entire castle. Apparently they were waiting for the rest of the family to arrive before attacking.

I blinked and saw the man grinning at me, his eyes s squinted as he glared. "Now we can begin." He sagte as he tried to run, forgetting that Emmett stood there waiting for him to try something.

I had made it down three steps before a cold hand grabbed me as my foot was about to step down onto a step. I was about to ask what was going on when I heard three voices talking quietly directly in front of my feet.
