End of Chapter 42
"Alice, get the others and meet at the gate." I thought as loud as I could, laughing at myself as I realized how dorky I must look as I grinned at nothing.
Rosalie and I ran at human speed back to the gate, grabbing Jasper and Emmett as we found them. We met the rest of the group and I smiled when Alice was there grinning at me.
I held out the envelope as I watched everyone, it was the same as the last envelope...nothing special about it except for the word CULLEN written on the outside.
I opened it like last time, letting the content fall into my hand. I was instantly confused when a feather slid out of the envelope along with a plain piece of paper. I handed the long white feather to Esme as I unfolded the note.
"I have your 'angel,' if Du want her...come get her." The note said.
I looked around at my family, this was a direct challenge to all of us and I knew instantly that we were ALL ready for this fight.
Chapter 44
"Let's go." Emmett sagte as he flexed the muscles in his arms.
"Emmett." Rosalie warned.
I was about to say something when I heard someone growling deeply, I looked around and was surprised to find that it was Jasper. His thoughts suddenly becoming clear, he was worried about Alice...like always. He was trying to think of ways to keep her out of this, he didn't want her there if we were fighting.
"He's trying to think of ways to keep Du out of this." I thought as I looked down at Alice.
"When will he learn?" She thought as she moved over and took Jasper's hand in hers.
"Never." I sagte out loud.
Everyone looked at me as the overhead announcement came on and announced that our flight was beginning boarding. I tucked the note into my back pocket as everyone gathered their stuff and stared to board the plane.
"Edward, keep faith. She's strong, she will figure out something." Esme sagte as she came up and wrapped her arm around my shoulder.
"She's so fragile." I sagte softly, my emotions suddenly coming to the surface. "She has to be so scared, Esme...it's our fault.." I sagte as Esme reached up and silenced me with her fingers.
The rest of our family stopped, all of them watching us. "Go on, all of you. We'll be along, just give us a minute, please?" Esme sagte as she motioned for them to keep going.
Carlisle's thought were confused, he wanted to stay and help..but knew that Esme would handle this. Everyone else wondered what was going on, Alice's thoughts the loudest as she fought herself. One part of her wanted to stay, to help Esme convince me to not give up..but the other part of her knew that Esme would handle this.
"It's ok Alice, Du can go. Talk to Jazz, he's upset." I sagte as I half smiled.
"Are Du sure?" She asked out loud.
"Alice, I can handle this." Esme sagte as she glared at her. "Please, let me talk to him. Du know how it will work out, now just let me talk to him." She demanded.
Alice groaned as she turned and walked away, looking back over her shoulder once before catching up with the rest of them.
"Edward, now listen." She sagte as she grabbed my shoulders and turned me to look at her. "Now, Edward...we've been together MANY years. Mehr then the rest of them." She sagte as she smiled.
"I know Esme, bu." I got out before she stopped me with a look.
"Do not interrupt, Du know better." She sagte as she shook her head. "Edward, Du do not give up. That's one of your strengths, your persistence..you don't give up."
I think I realized where this was going, but I knew better then to interrupt her again. I knew that she was doing this to keep me focused and for that I would be in her debt.
"Now, Bella is one of the best things to happen to Du and Du have never been happier then when Du were with her, Edward, she knew what she was getting into..she knew there was danger from being with you. She didn't care, she wanted to be with Du regardless. I know that she doesn't blame you, and even though I know this is pointless, I don't think Du should blame yourself either." She sagte as she smiled.
"Esme, I know I shouldn't blame myself but I do. I feel like this is all of our fault, and I am going to get her back. Thank Du for helping me see that I need to not give up, that we need to keep going." I sagte as I hugged her.
"Use your anger, Edward." She said, which surprised me quite a bit. "Don't look at me like that." She sagte as she laughed.
"I never thought I would hear Du tell me to use my anger, you're always trying to get us to be peaceful." I sagte as I laughed.
"I would prefer peace." She sagte as she smiled. "However, these people need to pay for everything." She sagte as she smiled, revealing all of her teeth as a very quiet growl started.
I laughed as I hugged her again. "I agree Esme, they will pay for this...but let's get Bella first." I sagte as I wrapped my arm around her as we started walking towards the boarding gate...at the exact time they announced the final boarding call.

Hey all, just a note to let Du know that I am going....well I guess Du could call it camping? Kind of?? LOL!
SO yeah...I'm going to be up a a Friends house on a lake, I think she has wireless internet...and if she does I might have time to write if it rains...but no promises.
SOOOOOO there won't be any new stories until either Monday oder Tuesday, but I will probably write so that when I get back I will have things to post.
