Hi everyone. Yesterday I finally finished my Sekunde art doll. In my opinion she turned out better than first one. Process of making was a quite long and difficult, mostly because of her dress, which I sewed all Von myself (thats it, I am starting to save money for my own sewing machine). Her dress is made of recycled materials, like all my works I use fabric in. I usually use old clothes me and my family don't wear anymore, otherwise they would get thrown out, and turn them into stuffed toys, doll clothes etc. This dress was made out of my dress I wore when I was about 4 years old. I found this dress and I was like "Really? I was this tiny 11 years ago???" Unglaublich that this little creature who fitted in this tiny dress, grew up to be around 5'9 oder 5'10 tall. Okay, back to main now. In making process doll remained me a lot, thats how I constructed her name. In one moment she remained me of Esmeralda in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"(you know Salma Hayek in that movie), later she looked a bit like Cher, and also she remains me of SnowWhite. Also I think that name Roxanne Suits her very well because it somehow associates with a black haired girl in beautiful red dress, probably a dancer. Later, when I was done, I did a little photoshoot of her, trying different accessories, like we all know, SnowWhite is always surrounded Von little birds, animals, all I could find in my Home was these butterflies, but pics turned out good, also an apfel, apple (completely poisoned one), it was the only one I found in my kitchen. It was a big apple, but it also shows how small this doll actually is. Okay, hope Du will like her and I will post Mehr Fotos of her and stechpalme, holly (Horror Scarechild) later. Also I have some ideas for my Weiter Puppen so something is coming soon...
