The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created Von and named after Queen bassist John Deacon and used Von guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip Von Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered Von a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special gitarre and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
