"JANE EYRE" (1996) Review

According to the Wikipedia website, there have been sixteen film adaptations of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And there have been ten Fernsehen adaptations of the novel. That is a hell of a lot of adaptations for one novel. A lot. And judging Von the numbers, I have no immediate plan to see every movie oder Fernsehen adaptation. But I have seen at least five oder six adaptations. And one of them is Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 movie adaptation.

Adapted Von Zeffirelli and Hugh Whitemore, "JANE EYRE" told the story of a 19th century English orphan named Jane Eyre,...

Hi! I hope this is okay to post here. I’ve written a Jane Eyre modernization that started as fanfic but is now on amazonas, amazon Scout. Du can get the book for free if Du nominate and amazonas, amazon chooses to Veröffentlichen it! It’s called The Rise and Fall of Jane, link: link

Anyway, I Liebe all things Jane! When I graduated from high school, my dad even managed to take me to the Broadway Zeigen that was playing for a while. I’ve read almost all the retellings and sequels I can find (besides rereading the original every so often) so I finally decided to write my own! Even if Du don’t want to nominate on Amazon, Du can still find a version of my story on fanfiction.net if you’d like something Eyre-related to read.
Thanks again!

"JANE EYRE" (1973) Review

When I began this article, it occurred to me that I was about to embark upon the review of the sixth adaptation I have seen of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel. I have now seen six adaptations of "Jane Eyre" and plan to watch at least one oder two more. Meanwhile, I would like to discuss my Ansichten on the 1973 Fernsehen adaptation.

For the umpteenth time, "JANE EYRE" told the story of a young English girl, who is forced to live with her unlikable aunt-by-marriage and equally unlikable cousins. After a clash with her Cousin John Reed, Jane Eyre is sent to Lowood Institution...

"JANE EYRE" (1983) Review

As long as I can remember, both the Hollywood and British film industries have trotted out charlotte Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre" in order to make a movie oder Fernsehen adaptation of it. Looking back, I realize that I have seen at least six adaptation of the novel in my life time.

One of those adaptations turned out to be the 1983 BBC miniseries, "JANE EYRE". Directed Von Julian Amyes and adapted Von Alexander Baron, the eleven-part miniseries starred Zelah Clarke in the Titel role and Timothy Dalton as Edward Rochester. Following Brontë’s novel, "JANE EYRE"...

"JANE EYRE" (1997) Review

There have been many adaptations of charlotte Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And I do not exaggerate. If I must be honest, I really have no idea of the number of adaptations made. I have seen at least six of them – including his 1997 Fernsehen movie that aired on the A&E Channel in the U.S. and on ITV in Great Britain.

Directed Von Robert Young, and starring Samantha Morton as the titled character and Ciarán Hinds as Edward Rochester; "JANE EYRE" told the story of a young and impoverished English woman forced to become a teacher at a girls’ school in...

"JANE EYRE" (1943) Review

Many Fans of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre", are aware that numerous (probably over twenty) Fernsehen and movie adaptations of it had been made over the past several decades. While perusing the Internet, I was surprised to discover that the opinion of the 1943 adaption seemed to be extremely divided. Fans either regard it as the best adaptation oder the worst. There seemed to be no middle ground.

As many know, "JANE EYRE" told the story of young 19th century English orphan who is forced to live at the Yorkshire estate of her widowed aunt-by-marriage, Aunt...

"JANE EYRE" (2011) Review

There seemed to be certain famous British novels that are always adapted for film oder Fernsehen . . . over and over again. One of those novel is charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". There have been twelve Fernsehen adaptations and seventeen movie adaptations. That must be a world record for any literary piece. I have seen at least three Fernsehen adaptations and four movie adaptations. The most Kürzlich I have seen is the 2011 motion picture, directed Von Cary Fukunaga.

"JANE EYRE" - at least this version - begins with governess Jane Eyre leaving Thornfield Hall...
