Narrated Ibn 'Umar (radiyallaahu 'anhu):
Allah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said:
Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):
1.To testify that La ilaha ill-Allah wa anna Muhammad-ar-Rasul Allah
(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah).
2.Iqaamat-as-Salat [to offer the (compulsory congregational salat (prayers) dutifully and perfectly].
3.To pay Zakat.
4.To perform Hajj (i.e pilgrimage to Makka).
5.To observe Saum [fasts (according to islamic teachings)] during the Monat of Ramadan.
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Allah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said:
Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):

1. Allah [in His Existence, His Oneness in His Atributes, His deserving to be worshipped and supplicated and His right to legislate].
2. His Engel [being created from light for obeying Allah's Orders].
3. His Bücher [ the Torah, the Gospel of Jesus, the Psalm of David and the Qur'an which is the best of them].
4. His Messengers [ the first of them was Noah and the last of them was Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wasallam, being the dichtung of the Prophets].
5. The Last Tag [ the Tag of resurrection for the reckoning of the people according to their deeds, and their appropriate compensation (award oder punishment)].
6. And to believe in Qadar (Divine preordainment) [that all which occurs of good and evil is Von Divine decree, accompained Von the employment of means to achieve desired results with satisfaction of what happens of good oder bad, the sweet and the bitter, because it occurs Von Allah's Decree].
