Because a few Mehr things have to happen at the Lake before I can write Mehr Girls, I decided to throw in some... Boys!
This chapter starts after Lisa has called Hugh from the bathroom at the beauty day. Robert has just arrived at Hugh's place...
Chapter 13: Boys!
Hugh smiled as he put his phone in his pocket again. He really hoped she’d like the surprise, because if she didn’t, that would be a real problem… He walked to the door as he had just seen Robert arrive with a cab. ‘Hey!’, Robert said. ‘Hey! Where’s your car?’, Hugh asked. ‘Broken… and now you’re asking yes I’d Liebe to drive your Porsche for once.’, Robert sagte dryly. Hugh smirked and threw him the keys, ‘Here Du go, going with my car is easier for me anyway. I need to pick something up tonight, so I kind of have to leave at 5.’ ‘Okay, got yourself another toy?’, Robert asked as he walked to Hugh’s brand new Porsche and stepped into the driver seat. ‘Wow! Man is this thing cool!’, Robert said. Hugh smirked, at first he had thought the Porsche wasn’t such a good idea, but now he couldn’t say that anymore. He liked the car, the thrill he got when he accelerated from 0 to 100 within Sekunden was amazing.
Hugh stepped into the passenger’s sitz and laughed as Robert checked every single millimeter of the car. ‘Man I Liebe this car!’, Robert almost screamed in his excitement. ‘It’s even better when we drive Du know…’, Hugh said. ‘I bet it is! I Liebe this car already! Just one question… why do Du have a Winnie the Pooh character hanging below the mirror?’, Robert asked. Hugh smiled at the very small stuffed animal version of Tigger.
Lisa had gegeben it to him at the last Tag they had spent at the Lake. He had bought her a sweater the Tag before as she was still cold all the time and earrings which were a light green-blue color just like the Lake. She had loved them and had also wanted to buy him something. She couldn’t really find anything that he’d like and the clothes were all either too small oder ugly. She had already gegeben up on buying Hugh something when she walked through a part of the store with things for babies. That was where she saw Tigger and remembered how Hugh had called her a baby tiger on their way to the Lake. He loved it and every time he looked at the stuffed animal he couldn’t help but smile and think of her, his baby tiger.
While Hugh had gotten Lost in thoughts, Robert had started the engine, ‘Ladies and gentleman fasten your seatbelts, we’re ready for take-off!’ With that Robert drove the car to the road heading to the bowling alley. ‘It was a gift…’, Hugh sagte after a few minutes. Robert nodded, ‘You had to think about that for a long time.’ Hugh blushed, ‘Yeah, sorry I guess I dreamed away a little…’ ‘Something particular Du dreaming about? You’re doing it a lot lately…’, Robert responded. ‘Yeah… ehm.. no.. nothing really…’, Hugh replied, being in Liebe really clouded his brains. ‘So who did Du get it from?’, Robert asked, he had noticed the slight change in Hugh’s behavior over the past weeks and had decided this was the perfect time to find out what was going on in his Friends life. ‘I-I ehm… from Lisa…’, Hugh quickly looked out of the side window so Robert couldn’t see him blush. ‘From Lisa? Why would she give Du this? Did she tell Du to put it in your car? Did she say it was cool oder something?’, Robert asked confused. ‘Ehm… it’s complicated and no she didn’t tell me to put it here, it’s just… I wanted it to be here, it’s something between Lisa and me, Du wouldn’t understand…’, Hugh replied. ‘Something between Du and Lisa… My god Hugh, please don’t tell me you’re in Liebe with her again?’, Robert sagte and looked at Hugh who looked down and blushed in response. ‘O god, Hugh! We’ve been over this! You’re married, Du have a family, responsibilities, she’s your colleague and yes she is flirty but she’s that Von nature… She loves you, but as a friend, I don’t think she’ll ever Liebe Du the way Du want her to. Please Hugh, don’t do anything stupid okay, I thought Du were over her…’, Robert sagte a little irritated. ‘I know and I’ve tried to get over her, but I just can’t okay?! And you’re wrong about her, she… we… at the Lake we kind of… She loves me too.’, Hugh sagte not really knowing how to tell Robert. ‘She loves Du too?’, Robert asked. ‘Yes, and she’s my baby tiger.’, Hugh sagte happily as Robert frowned at the tiger part…
