The moonlight reflected on the Wand near his window. It was supposed to be a rainy night but it was surprisingly clear.
House stared up at his ceiling unable to find solace in the silent room. He got out of bett and ventured back into the living room.
He saw Cuddy curled up under a blanket listening to his ipod. He nudged her shoulder.
"House? What's wrong?"

"I see Du everyday." She sagte with a confused expression on her face.
"Not anymore. Your a mom now. Du cut your time in half and are at Home more."

"And apparently you've started to Zeigen up at mine too."
Cuddy looked down at their entwined hands.
"Yeah, I miss you."
She looked up to find House's eyes focused intently on hers.
House took his other hand and placed it against her herz beat.
Cuddy looked down startled Von the action but then leaned against his palm.
"At first I thought Du were copping another feel."
"No. This is where I should have put my hand before...It's racing." He sagte with a grin.
Cuddy smiled and placed her own hand against his herz beat.

House moved his hand from her herz beat to her waist and pulled her closer to him. She went willingly. Cuddy placed her hand on his waist as well.

"I don't know." He sagte as he kissed her softly on the mouth.
"I just need you." He sagte as he leaned his forehead against hers. Cuddy moved her hands to his chest.
"You've never sagte that before and meant it."
House kissed her forehead.

Cuddy let out a sigh and softly pulled out of his grasp and stood up. House watched her in confusion.

"It's always like this with Du and me. It's always about pain and fear and loss."
