Von Weiter day, House was seated in front of Pitt who was reviewing his leg treatment progress. He wasn’t meeting in doctor’s stare as he was playing thumb wrestle with his own hands.
Pitt: Impressive…
House looked at him as his doctor close the file.
Pitt: I’ll pass this on to Cuddy this afternoon. I’m sure she’ll be here Von then so there’s no point of sending this to Plainsboro.
House: I don’t think so…
Pitt looked at his patient who was rolling his tongue on his side teeth.
Pitt: I don’t think so what? That she’ll be back? Why, what the hell did Du do?
It took a few Minuten before House answered back while Pitt pours some coffee to his cup. House gave a sighed and rubbed his forehead for awhile.
House: We kissed…
Pitt stopped and turned to face his patient.
Pitt: Seriously? <House nodded> When? Where? Here?
His doctor sat back on his chair as House tried to come up with words that would sum up the answer.
House: Damn not here in your office… In my room… Last night…
Pitt: This is Mehr than anything I asked for! ---- So any plans of moving further?
House: <sighed> I don’t know… Maybe yes… Maybe no…
Pitt: Du know, I was being positive about Du being progressive but now I see the down side of it…
House: She deflected…
Pitt: And that’s it? You’re gonna give up as well? Hell with that…
House sighed and took his cane that he hung on the edge of Pitt’s tabelle before getting up.
Pitt: Fine <House looked at him> have fun on your decision of letting her go. I won’t bother to know how painful it’s going to be since I won’t be the one who’ll be hurt anyway.
Pitt didn’t look at House who stopped Von the door and looked at him.
House: I’m blowing my mental rehab…
Pitt sighed and looked at him.
Pitt: You’re an idiot not a jackass, House. Cuddy won’t allow Du to do so…
House: She wouldn’t mind…
Pitt: But Du do… Du care if she’s happy on what’s going on with your life and now you’re pulling it away? ---- You’re really sure about it?
House sighed again.

That same morning in PPTH, Wilson was in the conference room talking with other department heads. Chatters and laughter filled the room while good stories are being shared. Wilson heard the door opened but he doesn’t know who entered.
Donrick: Finally! The man of the hour!
The other gents cheered and there was Cuddy right in the middle of the crowd. Wilson was almost Lost in her grey eyes the moment she laid her stares on him but he was caught back to reality when Cuddy was approached Von Green.
Green: Congratulations Lisa, Du deserve it.
Cuddy: Oh thank Du Fred…
Green happened to walk with a bottle of scotch at hand and offered it to Cuddy.
Green: Times like this calls for a big celebration!
Cuddy: Right
Cheers followed and another department head offered each one with a glass as Green pours the liquor out. The moment all glasses had been filled, he signaled Wilson to come close to them which the oncologist followed. He (Green) was the one who raised his glass and the others followed.
Green: For Dr. Lisa Cuddy’s effort for the benefit of Dr. Wilson’s department!
Another cheer from the group filled the air and all of them took a sip from their glass. Two hours later, the party is still on. Some are still thinking human while others are already kind of tipsy and two of them were Wilson and Cuddy who were having a conversation themselves at the side. He leaned closer to her ear to whisper something and it was followed Von their laugh.
Cuddy: Du really think that?
Wilson: Du don’t? I really think one of those hookers laid Crimson first…
Both were still laughing when suddenly Cuddy looked at her watch before giving a sigh.
Cuddy: Oh damn it…
Wilson: Problem?
Cuddy: I have to be in Mayfield Von now…
Cuddy tried to stand but she was sagging a little bit on the table. Wilson held her hand that caught her attention.
Wilson: Du really shouldn’t go…
Cuddy: What, Du think I ought to stay?
Wilson titled his head in agreement and Cuddy chuckled out.

It was late in the evening when Cuddy found herself seated on a chair in House’s room in Mayfield. She was holding a cup of tee while he was looking at her intently with arms folded across his chest.
House: Where have Du been?
Cuddy: House, it doesn’t mean ---
House: That’s not an answer…
Cuddy sighed and placed the cup on the bedside table, stood up and started to unpack the grocers from the bag she brought with an awkward silence beginning to build up.
Cuddy: It was JUST a kiss… Don’t think of anything other than that…
House stood up and let his arms fell on each side before he stood behind Cuddy letting his chest touch her back.
House: JUST a kiss?
Cuddy closed her eyes and opened them again before turning to face House.
House: Du might want to remember Du kissed back?
Cuddy Lost words for awhile as they let their eyes met.
House: You’re suddenly Schauspielen like Du don’t care…
Cuddy: <arched one eyebrow> Like Du do?
House smirked and somehow pulled Cuddy closer to him.
House: What if I say, I do?
