The file she had been holding jumped from her hand and her hand jumped to her herz in shock. She whipped around and gave house a playful shove. He had been hovering behind her office door and had jumped out as she had entered. "House!" she rolled her eyes and bent down to pick up the dropped file.he widened his eyes."Can we get an instant replay of that?" he asked with faux sincerity. She poked her finger to his chest and lightly pushed him out the door to her outer office. She turned on her heel and stepped into her inner office. She sat down and started organizing the paper work in front of her. She heard a knock. She supressed a smile. "Come in" she sagte without looking up, pretending not to know it was him again. She kept her head down as he sidled in. He ran as fast as a cripple could up to her schreibtisch and bent way over, trying to get a look at her downward-facing face. "C'mon"he sagte "Wheres that smile?". She looked up for the first time, trying to look annoyed at his intrusion. The smile was only visible for a split-second before her hand flew up to cover it. But it couldnt supress the giggle that escaped her lips as he put on a look of mock-surprise. "Found it!" he said. She sighed, still smiling. "Congratulations." she sagte with Mehr than a hint of lighthearted sarcasm. "Now was there something Du needed?" she propped her head up on one hand, cocking her head to the side. "Actually" he began in a Mehr serious tone "there was something ive been meaning to ask you.uuhm...." he rubbed the back of his neck, avoiding her eyes. Nervous excitement was steadily building inside of her. "Yeeessss....?" she prompted in a would-be-casual tone. "Well....ahh..." he cleared his throat "are.....are Du busy thursday night?". She blinked in a flirtatious sort of way "Iiiii......dont think so.Why?". he hesitated for a moment "Theres a band playing, on thursday, on a lake near my apartment and there supposed to be pretty good so i was just wondering....would you...like to come with me? he sat on the arm of a chair, still avoiding her eyes, anxiously awaiting a relpy. She smiled an enourmously dazzling smile. She took a deep breath "House." she said, sensing how nervous he was, "I would love to go with Du to the lake on thursday." he finally looked up, a shadow of shock in his eyes, his mouth slightly. open as if to say "I cant beleive it worked!". He smiled one of his little house-smile. "Good". All of a sudden, a shrill beeping echoed around the room. House pulled the ringing beeper out of his pocket. he grunted and stood up "Duty Calls". He had one foot out the door when she realized she forgot something. "House, wait!" he turned "What time?" she asked a bit shyly. "8:30" he replied with a real smile "ill pick Du up"

"Didja do it?"

House startled.Flushed with his own personal victory. House did not see wilson on the recliner in the corner of his office. Wilson was looking up at him expectantly. House took a deep breath. "Yes. I did."."Aaaaaaaaaanndd??" wilson looked frustrated. "She said...yes!"
Wilson looked slightly stunned
"Really"
"No"
"Oh. Im so-wait really?"
"Yes"
"Yes she sagte no oder yes she sagte yes?"
"Yes she sagte yes"
"No she she didnt"
"Your right she didnt"
"Oh..House i really am sor-"
"No, Du idiot. She really did."
The look in House's eyes told Wilson he was serious this time.
"House! thats....thats fantastic.....but..why didnt Du just say so?"
House snickered and left his office. All the successful dates in the world couldnt measure up to the entertainment he got from screwing with wilson.
