A/n. where i live,(maryland) its storming like crazy here. So i got the idea for the story cause of this. enjoys!

Cuddy jolted awake, A loud clap of thunder roaring outside. She glanced over to the window and saw the night sky light up, again and again... her mind went back to when she was a little girl.

An 8 Jahr old Lisa Cuddy was sleeping soundly in her bed, she woke up from a loud clap of thunder, followed Von a flash of lightning. She watched the dim light flashing in the distance. A bigger and brighter light flashed outside. She could hear her mother yelling to her father, "Adam, call the feuer department! ill get the kids." Her mother ran up the steps, her sister already in her arms, and grabbed her hand and led her outside. When she got out there she could see huge flames consuming her house. Her house was completly destroyed and she stayed with her grandmother for months until her family got a new house and things.

At the thought of that night she had tears streaming down her cheeks. She turned around and saw house sleeping besside her, who she almost forgot about, alomost. SHe gently shook him awake,

"House? House wake up." he groaned and opened his eyes.

"what??" another clap of thunder roared outside, followed Von a flash of lightning. She pulled herself closer to him and shook against his chest. "Cuddy calm down, its just a storm. nothings gonna hurt you." She shook her head, "No house,you... j-just dont understand." he wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back.

"Cuddy tell me whats wrong." She shook he head more.

"Cuddy." She pulled away from him and looked him in the eyes,sighing she spoke,

"when i was 8, there was a terrible storm outside. I heard a clap of thunder then saw a very bright flash of lightning. Weiter thing i know me, my mother and father, and my sister are outside watching our house burn down." Von now they were sitting up facing each other, and Cuddy had tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Cuddy..." another clap of thunder roared outside and Mehr lightning lit up the night sky. She jumped from the sound of the thunder and grabbed on to House again. He knew she was afraid, So he held her close to him. They both laid back down on the bed. Another clap of roared through the house and Cuddy Pulled herself closer to him.

"Cuddy, dont be scared. Im here." he said, rubbing small circles on her back. She finally relaxed and fell back asleep.

20 minuets later

House was still awake, watching over Cuddy making sure she would be ok. She started to toss and turn, and mumble in her sleep

"...mommy...mommy?..t-the fire. Fire..", she started yelling, "storm..fire..the house,...house...house!" she jolted awake and grabbed on to House.

"Shhh...Cuddy! your ok, its ok..its ok." he kissed the oben, nach oben of her head.

"H-house. Oh my god house, I feel so bad that I'm freaking out like this. But the fire, oh my god house I'm so scared." She started sobbing in his chest again. He pulled her closer and kissed her hair.

"Cuddy, Du almost Lost your family,you Lost your home, its ok to be scared. But ill be here to protect you, nothing can hurt Du when I'm around."

"House...I Liebe you. I Liebe Du so much." She said, holding on to him.

"Love Du too." She snuggled into him, nuzzleing his chest. And she slept soundly the rest of the night, because she knew she was in houses arms....
