What exactly does the whole 'October/October' thing mean? My Friends and I have been fighting over it and no one can figure out who's right.

A May/December relationship is one where there is a very large age difference. In 'Act Your Age', where the dad is dating his kid's afterschool teacher, Cuddy says that she doesn't get the whole May/December thing. House says that their age difference isn't so big and is May/October at worst. Cuddy wonders why relationships can't be October/October, where people are around the same age/are at the same point in their lives.
